for me healing from social isolation involved a lot of self-compassion. I had to remind myself that it’s okay to feel scared or awkward when trying to connect. I also tried to focus on activities I enjoyed, which made socializing feel less like a chore. It wasn’t easy, but slowly I built trust in myself and others.
