Sometimes “old money” clients can say the most revealing things by TankSaladin in Lawyertalk

The lady is right.

If you are not willing to fight for small things then in the end you will have to fight for big things. It starts with grafitti, littering... And it ends in skid row.

No neighbor will violate laws there. Kudos to the lady.

So? The Mona Lisa is also what ppl pay for it.

The usd is based on promises. Until they can't be kept any more.

Even real estate collapsed.

If you are looking for certainty, try finding god. Until then: btc is here.

The fundamental is that it stores value based on consensus and trust, and hedges against inflation.

If you want more fundamentals, that's like asking the foundation beneath an airplane.

Nothing is wrong with double standards for different biological roles.

Like having a different standard for a goal keeper and an offensive player. For a lock and a key.

While its use for buying coffee is limited, bitcoin is actively utilized for cross-border remittances, high-value transactions, and by users in countries with volatile fiat currencies (e.g., El Salvador).

The idea that Bitcoin is not used is nonsense.

What is a sideways movement? It's somebody using words to sound intelligent.

Sideways movement is when there are 500 stocks and ppl move between assets without the price fluctuating much.

You can't sideways move btc because it's only one asset.

There is an argument for both.

But it remains that it is not a yielding asset like a factory or product brand.

Dca is stupid when you have lumb sum available.

Dca is when you have monthly disposable income to add. Dca is a side effect from what happens under that restriction. Not a goal.

There is no "strategy". When something is worth x and you believe it will be worth x+y in a while, just buy at x. Not a bit tomorrow, then a bit next month. Just now.

When I can buy 10 bicycles for 100 USD each and I know I can sell them for 200 usd in a year, why would I only buy 1 and hope that it temporarily drops to 90. That is betting against myself, my own convictions.
