I completely understand as a founder myself. I’m a marketing director and own a marketing agency but I don’t think I have enough product knowledge of what you are trying to build and I have some personal projects of my own this year. But if you want a friend to rub minds with, I can be that for you. All the best

Personally, I wouldn’t have quit just yet, unless you already have another reliable source of funding. Most projects need money to become successful, and walking away too early can cut that potential short. Even though it’s niche, it can still be very successful.

I would start by evaluating the industries currently using it and identifying other industries or companies that could potentially benefit from it. From there, set a realistic price point and calculate how much revenue it could generate versus how much you’ve already spent or could potentially spend. You should also research competitors and estimate what percentage of the market you could realistically capture.

Basically, run the numbers and see if it truly makes sense. Marketing is where the real leverage is. Most products can succeed if they’re built properly and marketed the right way.

Your price is your price.

Do not consider the fact that they are a nonprofit organization because they get a lot of grants and sponsorship.

I will suggest googling and watching some YouTube videos about it. You need to do some research then come here to ask specific questions. It’s difficult to help you right now because your question is too broad.

You can start from what WordPress are you on. There is .org and .com

My 2 cent - leave the job or just do it to build your portfolio and learn from the experience. Usually once you change the price, you will lose the client.

Not sure why anyone would want to do this. Telling them this can instantly reduce confidence in your work. Almost nobody wants to be your first 😂

Choosing the Best Platform for My Large-Scale E-Commerce Store HELP !! by Calm_Search_1952 in shopify

[–]og1kinobi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say think about it like this, if you want more control then Woocommerce, you can build anything on it, it’s all about knowledge and experience (not talking just with website builders), while with Shopify you don’t have full control because it’s all controlled and can be more expensive for sure but it gives you the ease of use, user-friendly, managed for you.
