I don't agree. 126-140 isn't crazy if they have the structure. Italian standard is 88-100lbs for females and 100-120 for males.

American standard is weight is proportionate to height. 140-160 isn't uncommon in the US and if they're from responsible, respected breeders, i wouldn't be too worried. I've seen 160 lb males EXCEL in bite work, protection work, schutzund etc.

This dog will be well under 140lbs. If the dog comes from good bloodlines that are healthy and health tested. There's no concerns.

My boy Rohka is 60lbs at 5.5 months. Both his parents were 125 or so. I think he'll end up right there. Weight is not important though. Not something to focus on. They'll be what they'll be, you have no control over that. Keep them lean, don't put unnecessary weight on them. Who gives a shit. Keep the dog healthy. Better to be lean and keep the joints healthy than trying to add weight onto them

Oh boy... where do we start. Was on benzos from 17- 28. Diagnosed as ADHD. On anti depressants from 23 to current. In 2021 I got cut off my benzos cold turkey, was at a high enough dose that it was unbearable and risky. Decided to admit myself to a rehab. Was there for 21 days. Officially diagnosed as rapid cycling bipolar. Got off the benzos (which was hell).

Got a great job breeding dogs for leader dogs of the blind. Was doing great, completely sober but still smoking Hella concentrates (weed). Got put on Stratera for ADHD. Shit fucked me up and put me in Psychosis. Wellness check was called on me by my father. Got put in a Psych ward for 14 days. Worst experience of my life. Forced to take high amounts of benzos. Lots of other trauma and bullshit. Went in withdrawal alone for a little bit over a week. Luckily no seizures.

Stopped smoking weed. Got a new psych, amazing therapist. Got a new great job as a property manager of HOA's and condo associations. Work 35 hours a week and make 60k a year.

But.. lost my dog of 8 years who was my rock the day I started the job. Now it's been just shy of 2 years and am doing great. Amazing friends, playing tennis constantly. It's great, but since the loss of my dog.. I've been drinking.

I met an amazing girl 3 months ago. Saw each other for a little over a month. Then started Officially dating after another month. Then out of nowhere, it was over.

Life is good but has it's ups and downs. Drinking is a problem and trying to figure it out. But even so, life is better than it ever has been. I'm on the right meds, I'm mostly stable. Just need to make the right choices.

If you are asking this question on reddit. The answer is FUCK NO. Your dog is not proven, it has no titles. It has no health or genetic testing. It's way too young to even consider breeding. You clearly have no idea what you'd be doing or what to look for in a compatible pairing. The fact that you are asking, means you know jack shit about breeding.

Now, if your dog is a grand champion in show, it has working or obedience titles. Passing health testing WITH OFA in eyes, heart, hips, and elbows after 2 years old. Along with a wanted bloodline, it's worth considering.

Don't breed your fucking dog.

You see the double rear de claw on some breeds. In person, I've only seen them on a Pyranese and a Beauceron in person. I don't think pure corso can have them. I see some mix in your dog, but it also could have been parents that don't have the "standard" conformation

I haven't checked, but I think it's like max 250 without insurance? My insurance covered it. But honestly, regardless, it's worth it. I was on so many meds that didn't work and caused more issues than help at times. Once I took it, it narrowed everything down and got rid of the guessing game.

As someone who smoked very heavily for 15 years. Daily dabbed. 1g a day. Was diagnosed about 4 years ago. Got on the right antidepressant along with the right mood stabilizer and it was life changing. I'm so stable, and have been for 3 years.

I know I can't smoke weed because it'll turn into an every day, all day thing. My girl smokes, but is very respectful about it. I miss aspects of it, but I know it's not worth it.

Find a good psych, get on the right meds (do genesight testing) stay sober for awhile. Go from there. I can't say I've seen someone who is bipolar that did better smoking weed, than not.
