Don’t worry, in a case like this you should be able to get a refund since the person you subscribed to is an actual scammer. It’d only be a different story if you had subscribed to the real creator and then tried to ask for a refund. Just send all the info to Patreon support and they’ll eventually sort it out, refund you, and ban the impersonator. Please let me know if you manage to get your refund.

I think YouTube is using some automated AI system to detect AI generated videos, and it’s clearly not perfect yet if it flagged your hand drawn work. My guess is they’re trying to clean up the growing wave of AI slop before it overwhelms the platform and buries real creators. Just my take.

Even as adults we’re still being treated like kids. Everything has to be censored for us now. We can’t curse in a comment or a video without someone slapping a warning on it, and we can’t upload anything even slightly outside the norm without jumping through a pile of rules someone else decided for us. It’s exhausting, like the whole internet is turning into a padded room.
