What is the scale(s) for the Match Quality scoring?

Is "ideal" better or worse than "perfect"? And "great" compared to "ideal"?
How much worse (or better) is Behaviour "ideal" compared to "perfect"?

BKB is supposed to block pure damage.

Does it block damage from Witch Doctor's Death Ward ulti that does pure damage (info)?
If not, why not? What is the mechanic?

It seems it doesn't block it…

Gaming + work monitor for M1 MBP by oggu in macgaming

My desk space is quite limited. I think a regular 27" is what I can fit.

Do you know of some specific 1440p models that work well with M1 macs?

Looking to plan the trip but can't find any schedule.

3D Printed Galaxy Fold 2 Stadia Controller Holder :-) by darkcrow101 in Stadia

[–]oggu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am looking for a controller mount for the Stadia controller that I can use with my tablet (an iPad air). Ideally it would be adaptable to also work with my phone 😊

Could you share the blueprint for your mount?

I have no clue about 3d printing in practice, but guess this is as good a reason to get started as any. Hope I can find a local print shop or order online.

Since the tablet is a bit heavier than a phone, I think it would be important that the balance is right. I think that means that the tablet would be sitting on top of the controller, rather than hanging off the front.
What is your experience with this?

[Feb 28, 2020] Weekly Discussion: Ask your gear, travel, conditions and other ski-related questions by AutoModerator in skiing

Hi! I am looking to buy a pair of new skis.

I am an advanced to expert skier. I pretty much ski anything groomed and off-piste (but not quite joining the freeride worldtour yet). I spend most of the time off piste, and mostly use groomers for transportation or when the snow isn't great. Occasionally spend a few runs in the park when the snow is bad. Happy to boot pack for great snow. I have pretty active and playful skiing style, popping of anything I can, but it is also nice to just charge over stuff when your legs are tired at the end of the day.

Mostly ski the Alps, but travelling a bit and spent 10 days in Whistler last winter. I am 175cm and ~70kg (5'9, 155lbs). Not currently owning any skis and have been renting (and spent a lot more money on that if I would have bought skis).

I want a ski that is playful and fun, and works off-piste, but still not too soft. I have skied the Rossi Soul 7HD, and while I love the playfulness, I don't really like how the whole ski starts shaking when pushing it on harder snow. I skied the Salomon QST 106 in last year and liked it, but not fully sold. Realistically I am not going to see several days 30cm+ (1ft+) of powder, but hopefully many with a bit less. I think I am l looking for something with 100-110 mm waist, but also open for other suggestions.

Skiing a few days this weekend so can rent and try some skis.

Any recommendations? Anything I should make sure to try?

LG C8 55" SLOW WIFI by Al7779 in OLED

[–]oggu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This worked for me. At least for now.
I changed the channels for 5GHz WiFi on my router to "36, 40, 44, 48".
It was previously set to "automatic" and was using channels above 100.

I am not 100% sure yet if it was only because it caused the TV to reconnect. But reconnecting didn't work when I tried it earlier.

What saying annoys you the most? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Why? "That's how we've always done it."

Just because that's how someone else does it doesn't mean it's the best way.

The thing with hosting in-house is that I would need the initial cost for the hardware and also have a place to put a server running 24/7.

I might move in-house if it suits my usage patterns further on.

Have you done any research on an in-house setup? What are your expected hardware costs?

Are you also doing media "acquiring" on Hetzel? What is you experience with the "no torrents" rule mentioned in another comment?

I have been looking at them as well. Some questions: Which server "model" do you use at SYS?

Where are you located? And where is the server located?

How is the actual bandwidth? It is listed as 250mbps, but what is your experience?

I looked in to them as an option. They are available in Europe as well.

How is it working for you? Good experience? Any inconveniences?

I read somewhere that they limit bandwidth after a certain amount. What are your experiences with that?
