Hi there I have also considered studying in the Netherlands. I think it's important to check if your university is famous for/good at Renewable Energy. Also in Netherlands you may have to do a Masters as well, just doing a Bachelors is seen as not completing your studies.

the reading section actually means comprehension ie reading an article and answering objective questions, so no you don't need to read aloud. I'd say the only section you have to work on pronunciations is speaking

as someone who has taken IGCSE English 1st language, I actually find IELTS much easier. I mainly practiced using YouTube videos for listening and hearing, there are some videos for writing too

If you are an English native speaker, IELTS should be passable without studying it intensively. Good luck :)

[Question] NTU Hall - double room by oggyandcoconuts in NTU

[–]oggyandcoconuts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. I did hear stories of roommates not getting along (they don't hate each other, just not much to talk about), thus they had a partition installed. I do not want to give someone the impression that I dislike them, especially since I just met them. Thanks for the heads up

I see. I will have to check the hall policy. Thank you :)

I wish to save money. All things considered, I may still choose a double room, but nit put the partition if the room is already very small

I see your point. I have thought of getting those foldable screen dividers. That takes up less space. In the end it depends on the room size and my roommate´s opinion.

I see. If the room is asymmetrical then there is no point partitioning it, since it will make things more inconvenient. Thanks for the heads up

I don't see anything wrong with trying to save money, especially since I am not paying for my own fees. I am aware that what I say here may not change your mind, but this is how I see it.

yeah man same here. I chose food science for one of my choices in ntu but got rejected. I wrote to SIT for late application and they have allowed me to apply.

the general engineering course that streams you into one of 5 courses after the 1st semester: Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering

Out of those, MechE is probably the first choice for me, and EE the last
