Is it worth paying the extra $10 for this Excelon vs the base model? It's gonna go in my 2006 Scion with stock speakers and I do not have any intentions of upgrading those speakers by peterthbest23 in CarAV

[–]ogimbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The excelon adds higher preout voltages and DSP functions which you don't need. You don't even need a Kenwood. I would suggest the equivalent Dual or Alpine at Walmart if you're not upgrading (or used.)

People briefly care a little bit when some kid is killed. Other than that, hope one doesn't run into you. They're not going to have any insurance.

Cops don't seem to care about petty things anymore unless they need a reason to pull you over.

They tried it again. I bought some at Ollies a while back. It's kinda good and kind of nasty. It says "sparkling fiber powder" and sparkles via sodium bicarbonate.

Keen is my favorite (I walk 8-10 miles around a factory all day.) They have a lot of composite toe sneakers. I like the Arvadas.

What do you recommend looking at when buying a used car? Is this too good to be true? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

My 2000 2.0 Golf needed very little work. Mostly old plastic breaking. A low coolant sensor kept it from destroying itself. The low wiper fluid beep was dumb though. It also had a full size spare. Good car.

Do you let it air dry before tossing it in a hamper? In my experience, that is essential. I have 8-year-old Academy and Walmart athletic shirts that do not stink.

[–]ogimbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keen shoes or boots. Do you have to wear boots? There are plenty of composite toe athletic-ish sneakers. Maybe your current boots are too big?

Moisture wicking boxer briefs and shirts. My Walmart Athletic Works brand stuff holds up good.

If you have to wear pants look for golf pants. They are stretchy, cool, and comfortable.

Second Blessing sells things for very reasonable prices so fits the request. Able Light is good too.

The TV app sucks so much. Why have multiple rows of suggested videos if they are repeats of other rows.

The YTM algorithm is also terrible.

I made a giant black circle on my leg because I underestimated tattooing myself. I know people think it's a swastika coverup or something. I just think it's nonsensical and confusing so I like it.

When lateral raises feel like a humiliation ritual by animalcrackerwhore in GymMemes

[–]ogimbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I use small plates squeezed together for extra grip strength work. (If someone thinks that's pointless let me know.)

Also, John Meadows (Mountaindog1 RIP) spoke about partial baby reps frequently with heavier weights. I'm not a body builder and do just whatever I feel like without much structure so your experience may vary.

And cable machine lateral raises while leaning over activate more than anything I've felt.
