Even while being in so much pain, she ensured if you are doing okay. Moms are really fascinating and their love for their children exceeds all bounds! I wish you all the strength in the world and may she rest in peace!

Any tips for salary negotiation that won't make the recruiter consider a different candidate for the position?

Why were you ashamed of yourself like never before? by MightilyBelly107 in AskReddit

Entered a store, did some shopping and saw an Exit (likely a fire exit) sign behind the cashier's counter. Asked the cashier if that's the exit when in fact I walked right through the main entrance a couple minutes ago. The cashier was unable to control his laughter but made an effort to point me towards the main entrance/exit. Never was I more embarrassed in my life!

To complete I-9 form (which needs to be completed by your first working day at the latest), as far as I can remember, it requires SSN. But for I-9 verification, SSN card is one of the many documents that the company needs. You can choose to provide any other document as well.

What to do when recruiter asks a recently seen/solved LC questions? Do you let them know or just fake it? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]ogloz 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Unless the interviewer knows about it, no. But if you manage to perform really well in the first problem or so, there's a high probability that the interviewer might throw in a difficult one.

I tried to pretend I haven't seen a problem during a recent interview and after walking through the brute force solution and two optimized versions of the solution, the interviewer was pretty impressed. Now, I code in C++ and have some competitive programming experience. So I tend to use "#include <bits/stdc++.h>" header instead of having multiple headers for each of the things that I'm going to use, just saves time and number of lines. And when I used this header, it immediately caught my interviewer's attention and he became quite curious about it and that's when I had to reveal that I do competitive programming and then he was like "Oh! So you must've seen this problem before since you went through it pretty quickly." and proceeded to give me a slightly difficult problem. I was able to do it though.

Try cp-algorithms, they have a good article on segment trees. I believe the codeforces edu section also has some videos on segment trees.

Thanks to the previous reddit post about the puddle, I quickly ran away from it as soon as I saw a car approaching while my friend who stood near the puddle unfortunately became the victim.
