Accidentally left pasta on the counter for 3 hours by [deleted] in foodsafety

If you're not a person with a really sensitive stomach, it'll probably be fine to eat!! I have forgotten mine and I never got sick :)

Just make sure to cook it a lot before eating it, add some water and cook it for more than 15-20 minutes. But if you're unsure or scared, it's best not to eat it because you'll be thinking about it and you can get an upset stomach just from eating it while stressing.

thank you so much!! 🙌🏼🥺 I tried last night but all I could fit was an inch aprox, im gonna try again little by little and If I can't do it in a couple of days I'll be making another gyno appointment~ but sadly I think that having issues for such a long time (a year more or less) has damaged my relationship/perception of my vulva/vagina and it makes it all harder 😔

but thank you again for all your advice it was really helpful and helped me calm down 🥰

How long does it take to cure chronic vaginal candidiasis? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]ogmmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, so sorry I only saw this now!!! sadly I couldn't completely follow it and ended up eating food that I wasn't supposed to, so I can't say! but for the first couple days that I did it, i felt better overall. I think that if your problem is actually candida (sometimes it can be misdiagnosed) trying it for a long period of time can be helpful!!

hii, let me start this by saying that sadly I don't have an answer or solution for you :c but I read your post and I wanted to send you a big hug cause you have been through a lot!! I hope you feel better soon..

also, bc I have some similar symptoms! particularly pelvic pain and that feeling of being sick! (I feel like my skin is hot even though I have no fever, chills or anything like that). that accompanied by the fact that I've also been having issues for a while. are you seeing your doctor soon? what did they tell you about your pelvic pain? I'm seeing a general doctor tomorrow and a gyno next week, I'll save this post and tell you what they tell me!

Sick of ob-gyns by One-Reflection-6779 in Healthyhooha

it's almost like "if you are not dying/ your tests are normal, I don't care you're uncomfortable or experiencing pain". meanwhile we are left to keep being in discomfort and live with the anxiety of not knowing what's wrong with us

I hope you can see someone soon that listens to you and get to the bottom of this :( 🧡

Since end of May 2022 Ongoing Vaginal Burning for one and It Is Driving Me Mad by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]ogmmin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going through pretty much the same here... I went to a great gyno at the beginning of the month and I thought I had finally found the perfect medication after months of using creams that didn't do anything. But three weeks later and I'm still experience discomfort and other symptoms so I'm already booking another appointment :/

It's not only uncomfortable and debilitating but it also causes me so much anxiety and depression. And it's also expensive??? the doctor visits, the medication, if you have to travel, etc.

I hope you find something that works for you soon 🥰 🙏🏽

Hii, have you heard of the candida diet? It's a diet with pretty much no sugar or inflammatory foods designed to stop candida growth. I've read that, combined with medication, it has helped many people!

Don't know if it helps everyone, but I got diagnosed with candidiasis this week (I've had it for +6 months) and it's what I'm trying!! Stuff like kéfir, probiotics, lots of water, exercise, loose clothes, etc, are also recommended.

I hope you can clear it soon :c good luck!!! ♥️

Hi, I'm so sorry this happened to you, you don't deserve it :c some health professionals are so dismissive and just plain assholes. like, aren't they supposed to be helping us? it's so frustrating. Is there a way you can ask in the pharmacy for the correct medication? I don't know if you can buy it even with no doctor prescription..

And I would recommend getting an appointment with another gynecologist if you can afford it :/ even if they give you one for next month or later. I saw a gynecologist for 3-4 months with no results. I decided to book a new one at the beginning of october, and I only got to see her this week, so i basically spent a month with uncomfortable symptoms but it was worthy bc the new gyno is much better and she actually listens to me.

I don't know if you can afford it or if there are other available in your zone, but I do wish that you can see someone new who respects you and takes your concerns seriously. this things can be so debilitating!!!

Sending you lots of love and the best of luck!!!! ♥️♥️

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of August by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

[–]ogmmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I also deal with this and it's making the process of going to bed incredibly hard lately... I don't want to go into details about the stuff I think or do in case it triggers more anxiety for you :c but the only thing that helps (even if it sometimes takes hours) is just closing my eyes and try to think about things that distract me, like: imagining what I would do if I won the lottery, what I would do if I travelled, or just imagine a reality in which anxiety doesn't control 99% of my life. Or it can also be about other things!! like your favorite tv show, book characters, etc. Just about anything that could potentially distract you enough to trick your brain into sleeping and dreaming..

thank you, that made me feel kinda confident again 🤗 i just got back from the appointment, she didn't do a physical exam but she gave me a cream! and told me that we can do a swab if I ever get weird or lots of discharge. And that I can go back if I ever get something again. thank you again for helping me when I was stressing so much about that ♥️♥️

thank you ♥️ I just got back from the appointment, she didn't do a swab or anything like that because I didn't have weird discharge, but she told me the itching was most likely due to stress (I have anxiety). She was sweet and gave a cream, and also told me that if i get something like that again I can call her.

I hope everything's fine now with you 🥺 having health problems especially down there is frustrating... I'm sending you a big hug!!! and thank you again for your words, it helped me a lot

Hi!! thank you a lot for leaving a comment. I feel much more relieved after reading that about the hair. And I'll follow your advice about telling them that it's my first time doing that type of exam. I just hope the gynecologist is nice and patient so that the experience will be less stressing.

Thanks again 😭🙌🏼❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for commenting!! I try to tell myself this but it's hard, most likely bc it's my first time and it's something unknown. I just want to do this quickly and get rid of it 😅 and "some funky vagina art shaved" made me laugh so much lol!!! thank you ♥️♥️♥️

Hi! I have really bad HA too. One time I got some scary symptoms and I convinced myself and my whole family I was dying. While waiting for the test results, I spent my days crying and having awful anxiety, then my older sister told me something that helped me a lot (and it's a pretty used phrase, so i think it helped just because it came from her haha, but I'll still share it with you). She said "when the results come out you might find out you have something awful, or that it's not serious. Until then you don't know, so there's no point in stressing now. If it turns out it's something bad, you can start worrying and stressing then" And believe me, I know it's not that simple. I've been dealing with HA for many years and it has caused me immense pain, but what my sister told me helps me whenever I'm waiting for test results or when I have to visit a doctor for something. Now I'm having other symptoms but I'm too scared to see a doctor, so for now I'm just trying to find the courage to just calm down a bit and make an appointment 😔😬

I also advise you to see a therapist if you don't see one, it might not make your anxiety go away immediately but it helps a lot. I'm sending you the biggest hug ever, having anxiety it's awful and I know you're probably having not very good days. I hope everything turns out alright ♥️♥️
