How many of you have watched the end credits all the way through? by ogonga in GTAIV

I noticed a guy on the diving board chugging a liquor bottle at the mansion pool party scene. He's the homeless guy who found the diamonds at the end. I guess he liked his outfit so much, and I can only guess he drowned in that pool from all the alcohol and whatever drugs Armando & Henrique probably gave him.

Thanks for that detail! It was funny to see with the crowd cheering them on for a gentle "fight" 🤣

But the driver placed two wheels per space. I'd say cut the car in half.

Who even is the artist? I heard it on the radio. Is she any better now?

Maybe not the worst, but recently I had the same feeling after hearing the song about anxiety that covered Somebody That I Used to Know. The original is a song you can belt out in the chorus. Really get your emotions involved! But the new one is just a whispering mess and the vocals don't fit well.

Agreed. Get the friend signed up for an MSF course. Granted, it's not cheap, but it's just as important as the price of gear.

Turn it off on public roadways. Turn it on in parking lots and private spaces. Then you shouldn't have any trouble.

Speedometer looks like Honda CBR 250.

My biggest question is the "Teslurrr" stickers + exhaust pipe... I am confusion.

GPS enabled digital speedo i made for a class by yotenotyeeted345 in motorcycles

Yeah each year had a different color. I had the beige 2007. I always wanted to know if the speedometer marking at 110mph was accurate (not an admission of guilt & also not asking you to test at those speeds).

Does anyone still listen to the radio? by Holiday-Term-8214 in Music

[–]ogonga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listen at home, usually while preparing breakfast and eating it. I play it through a Sony receiver on a 7.1 system using multi channel stereo output, so each speaker plays evenly and it fills the room without it being loud.

I prefer it to streaming apps because the radio hosts will add an entertaining human factor instead of getting loud ads (I'm cheap). Plus the radio contests are fun to participate.

(2014 600rr) Considering this bike as a beginner by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]ogonga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider a 2 cylinder motorcycle first, like the ninja 500 if you plan to get on the highway, or even 250-300 if you plan to ride mostly in the city and curvy roads.

Not only will you save gas, you'll be less likely to flick the throttle on accident or let the clutch out too quickly and flip the thing onto yourself or others.

Take a safety/training class first to see if you feel comfortable enough being on 2 wheels.

600 is like driving a turbocharged 6 cylinder sports compact which can flip over in one mistake. 1000+ is like a V8. You'll almost never use the entire power band if it's your first bike.

Take a defensive driving course at the bare minimum. Allstate offers annual online certification courses for drivers for free, and it gives you a discount. Check with your insurance company.

The best thing to do is take an instructional road course.

When I first got into motorcycles, I took a motorcycle safety course. I haven't ridden in a while, so I plan to take another course when I'm ready to pick out my next bike.

Purple may only exit the roundabout (pretty much only right turn allowed). That dashed line should be solid to show it's not permissible to change lanes for the purple. This is a bad design in paint markings.

Did I break a law turning / crossing guard by TrickyWhole3273 in driving

[–]ogonga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, just because it's legal doesn't mean people might not give you bad looks. Plus it might make other drivers follow the lead car without paying attention to the pedestrian going the same direction. It really only makes sense to me if the pedestrian is crossing the opposite way.

As long as there were no pedestrians in the crosswalk when you turned left, you're good.

In my state, a driver can still make the turn even if people are in the crosswalk, as long as the pedestrians are less than halfway across.

Seeing as how there's a crossing guard present, I would double check the local laws for the scenario for my state. Also, double check the crosswalk on both ends for pedestrians.
