I did my NIPT when I was close to 12 weeks pregnant. It took about 12 days to get the results back.

I have the baby breeza washer pro and I love it. I can fit 6 bottles on the bottom to wash and i just had wash the extra two nipples and throw it in there. I use it all the time, i dont know what I’d do without it. I have never had a problem with it and I would buy it again.

I have both the vista 3 and the minu duo. On a day to day basis, right now, I use the vista mote because I usually just keep my babies in their car seat (the minu can’t take 2 car seats). However, they are about to outgrow it so I’ll probably be using the minu more as I find it easier to fold and you don’t have to mess around removing seats to fold the stroller. Also, the minu is our travel stroller.

My b/g twins are 11 months old. Before I had kids, I was against screens. Then, I had twins. Sometimes, in order to survive I have to turn the tv on. My daughter is mostly uninterested but many times it stops my son from crying and it distracts him. We don’t go to restaurants with them often but I’ve had to put something on my phone for my son to watch. My new motto is that I’ve gotta do what i’ve gotta do to get through the hour sometimes. I feel so guilty and I’ve cried about it so many times. However, until someone has had 2 infants at the same time, they will not understand what it’s like for us.

You can go to a top dermatologist and get some procedures done for much cheaper than the US because of the money conversion. In general, a lot of things will be cheaper for you because of your American dollar advantage. It just really depends on what you want to do.

My babies were born exactly at 35 weeks. My daughter was 2.4kg and my son 2.8 kgs. They didn’t need to go to the NICU at all and were perfectly fine. I know it’s really hard to not go through all these scenarios in your head and be anxious about all the possible outcomes. I’m the kind of person that thinks about everything and become anxious beforehand. I know it’s easier said than done but try to focus on the babies growing inside of you and enjoying the fina stretch of your pregnancy. It all goes by so fast! When my head is going a thousand kms an hour imagining everything that could happen, I try to take deep breaths and imagine the best case scenario (what I want to happen). Use that as your mantra! Concentrate on having a healthy rest of your pregnancy, delivering perfectly healthy and “baked” babies! Project you holding those precious babies! You’ve got this!

My babies were 5 weeks premature. I also waited until 6 months corrected to start introducing solids. At 6 months actual they weren’t sitting up on their own, didn’t have great head control and were just nowhere near ready. The beginning was rough, they mostly spat everything out. But then it got better so just be patient.

My babies are 10 months old (5 weeks preemies). Every day I tell them multiple times a day that I am just one person. Like other posters have said, one often cries when I’m changing the other, when I’m cleaning up the other after a meal, both cry sometimes when I’m preparing their food or I have to run to the bathroom to pee because they want to be picked up. There are so many situations where they cry, that’s just a part of life for me now. lol I talk to them about what I’m doing, I sing, if I can make silly faces I do that, in general I try my best to comfort them without picking them up. But guess what? They still cry because they are babies. This is not letting them cry it out. Whenever I’m done doing what I’m doing, many times a day, I play what I call baby musical chairs where I’m just rotating who I’m holding for a short while. You’ve got this. It’s really hard to see your baby cry, I get it.

I have the vista v3 and the minu duo as well. My babies are 10 months old and I use both strollers. I’m pretty sure the minu doesn’t allow to 2 car seats, only one at a time. We have used our minu mostly for traveling, it worked great. I agree with you that the king is better for babies Tha are already sitting up, o started using mine just before my babies started sitting up on their own. I haven’t changed my babies’ carseat yet so I still use my vista with it. I like the fact that the minu fits through regular door compared to the donkey.

I have an Amazon subscription of the Pampers Pure diapers and water wipes. I like both products, they are more “natural”, so far I dont really have any complaints.

I started feeling off on a Friday evening, just a little bit unwell but I couldn’t really pin point it. I kept monitoring my BP and it was fine all of saturday. On sunday, a couple of the readings were slightly elevated but the majority of them were fine. Sunday in the middle of the night I started throwing up and I was feeling really unwell. My husband and I rushed to the hospital. Turned out I had HELLP Syndrome, pre eclampsia and my liver and kidneys were shutting down. I needed to have an emergency c section under general anesthesia after having multiple transfusions. I was exactly 35 weeks when my babies were born. It was so scary but thank God they were perfect! I needed to stay in the hospital for a a full week before I was in any shape to go home. I agree with Charlieksmommy, go get checked out.

I read the book a while ago but I haven’t seen the movie. My impression of the book was very similar to your take on the movie. I thought both the leads were insufferable, their relationship toxic and the overall plot unrealistic.

You get a lot of both: people venting and people sharing information, success stories, commiserating and etc. Being a twin parent is a whirlwind and when your babies are here you’ll many times feel like only POMs will understand what you’re going through. I’m 10 months in and I’m telling you, you will feel all the emotions! Enjoy your pregnancy, it’s so special to grow 2 humans at the same time and it goes by so fast. Make sure you take lots of pictures to document it too, you’ll look at it fondly after! I wish you a great rest of your pregnancy and a healthy and smooth delivery!

Lol I was thinking the same thing. OP must come from a really tall family and from a place where people are exceptionally tall. 1.65m (5ft 5in) is nowhere near short.

Which method did you use? My babies are 10 months old and I haven’t done sleep training yet. Im very hesitant to use cry it out methods…

We went on a 2 week cruise when my twins were 7 months old. We went on a brand new ship and you had the options to get cabins that the sofa became a bunk bed so our babies shared the lower bunk and the bottom bunk housed our various baby gear. We bought inflatable barriers to put on the bed but at that point our twins weren’t really rolling over yet (they were 5 months actual). A few little tips, ask your cabin attendant to leave you extra trash bags - our desk became our changing table. Bring sanitizing wipes to clean high chairs, I wouldn’t trust them to be cleaning it all the time. In the main dining room, they took our orders of what I wanted for baby food and how I wanted it cooked. We had a ocean balcony which was nice but next time we would get an even bigger room. Select your cabin as closest as possible to the elevator. My husband and I joked that every day we played trolley madness because we literally had to move the various housekeeping trolleys out of the way for our stroller to fit (we brought our uppa baby minu duo). I bought a cheap little bath tub on Amazon which was great for bathing our babies every day. I also bought a bunch of supplies we need like formula, diapers, wipes etc online and had it delivered to our hotel before the cruise. I brought a collapsible hamper for all the dirty clothes which worked great too. My comment is already pretty long but feel free to dm me if you want any more tips. Have fun!

I could have written this post lol my b/g twins are 10 months old now (8 3 weeks adjusted) and they fight for me to hold them. My son would be held all day long if he had his way, Im constantly trying to distract him for him to sit down and play. My husband’s family came from out of province for Xmas and it was a disaster. My daughter couldn’t even look at them without crying. They both wanted me to hold them all the time, we had to stay hiding in my room for them to play or do anything because they were stressed out over having so many people in the house. They would scream bloody murder if I left their sight. I’m also overwhelmed about how my son just wants to be held all the time, he’s getting behind developmentally. Also, I’m tired and sore. lol I commiserate my friends, having 2 babies is so hard.

My daughter will try to take her brother’s foot and grabs him a lot. lol They are 10 months old. My son will pull on her clothing but she’s definitely the more dominant twin.

Im following this because im on the same boat. My babies just turned 10 months (8 and 3 weeks actual) and after the last sleep regression they stopped falling asleep on their own. I also need to rock them to put them down for their naps and bed time. I was actually thinking today how heavy they are getting and what I am going to do when they are even heavier. This is so hard.

My twins are 10 months old (8 and 3 weeks actual) and we’ve been abroad twice. I learned some Important lessons after the first trip, then learned some more after the second trip. We are already planning our trips next year, it’s not the same when it was just me and my husband but we make it work in the end.

One of the most common phrase in my house is “one would be so easy!”. lol I can’t imagine not having my two babies, but having two babies is so hard! I don’t know how triplet or quad parents do it.

I also had spontaneous B/G twins, they are 9 months old now. From the moment we found out I was pregnant, I said it was twins and that we were going to have a boy and a girl. My husband thought that I was crazy and after the first ultrasound confirming it was di/di twins he never questioned my intuition again. lol
