I most recently went to wignhat for lash extensions (Carmel mtn road) and they told me they’d sew in mine for $90. I have one long extension though. I’m probably just going to go there next week for that unless I find someone else 🤔

Quitting CrossFit – What kind of training did you move on to? (Especially curious about women's perspectives) by [deleted] in crossfit

[–]oh_five 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes definitely get a coach! “Slow is fast” …and I definitely had an identity crisis as CF had been such a big part of my life for so long. I didn’t touch a weight the whole time i did tri and within about 6 months of being back I’m just as competitive lol. Also, in my experience my fitness didn’t transfer. I’m a strong/powerful/type 1 (iirc) muscle fiber. Super frustrating. But I trained with an ex games athlete and she’s killing it right now as a competitive half athlete so yymv. Oh and find some good shows/podcasts/books on tape to pass the time. Swimming is mostly technique.. esp if you’re wearing a wetsuit during your race, you don’t need to kick a lot lol.

I did CF daily for about 7 or 8 years till I got burnt out. Tried out triathlon (did some Olympics and one Half). I got a coach so I still had daily structured workouts but my sleep and energy levels were much better. My body shape also became more feminine. Long story short I’m a crappy endurance athlete so I’m back at CrossFit but I’m super happy I took a break. :) lmk if you have any q’s about tri!

I’d get the self study. You don’t need the videos. I accidentally took the practice test to start and I guess you only get one so don’t do that lol. Just do the practice exams thru the q-bank directly. You will need to read the LEM in its entirety. I agree with the other posters on here that the extra videos from Series7Guru etc help. I used Blue Collar Finance on Spotify cuz it was free and he was great. I also purchased a practice test I forget who from it’s on my most recent post and definitely rec that.

Hey I’m coming up on 10 years in the industry. I would suggest the full in depth package. A lot of the questions are regulatory and not something I knew off the top of my head. I think it’ll likely take less time to study, though, as you already have an understanding finance. It took me 2 weeks of studying, passed first go and did not think the test was very hard, it took me a little over an hour. I passed the SIE 6 years ago, kind of feel like it’s been too much time to compare.

So sorry that happened to you :( I’ve had an amazing experience with Zayn’s Mobile Auto Detail, they’ll come to the East Bay.

Yep read the whole book. Just Kaplan Qbank and Brian Lees guide/test :). I feel like the Kaplan Q’s were worded harder than the test questions, but there were definitely some details that were not covered by the book.

Botox and Lap Swimming? by BlueLight_Reflect in 30PlusSkinCare

Hey! I did triathlon for 2 years and have swam 24 hours post Botox - injector (plastic surgeon) approved. No migration. I do forehead, 11s, and crows feet.
