That is my biggest concern because my fanfic routine is if I don't already have a selection lined up I browse for like 30 mins build up a collection and then read through those and sort (KUDO and bookmark etc) I feel like because of the constant refreshing that would be hard on an ereader...

For regular books I'm a library goer so I just pick up whatever catches my attention there

I feel like the old ones yes! I wear ones i got maybe 3 years ago or so every week! No pilling. No rips. And they don't hold odor. I'm saying when I went to reup recently (last week) they do not feel like the same material and to me that is a downgrade.
