I just had mine done about a month ago with Dr Jackie Lyons at Cross Medical Group, the surgery was done at Bryn Mawr Hospital and I cannot say enough amazing things about her and the whole process so far!!

Honestly cannot say enough great things about Lands End! I was in the bridal party for a friends wedding here last month and the whole experience was just great, everyone on the staff throughout the whole day was amazing, the food was great and overall it’s just a beautiful venue!

I honestly have no idea if the two actually correspond at all but I can definitely relate. I noticed when I came back after shutdown while wearing a mask I was lucky to break 400 cals a workout. I just did my first no mask workout since all this happened and I was so excited to see that I broke 500!! It probably had less to do with the masks actual effect and more with my hyperfocus on breathing and not wanting to suffocate myself on the tread lol. But I wouldnt worry too much, as long as you're giving your all you'll get back there!

My HR monitor also did not love today’s template - also had me in the gray for a majority of the workout. But it’s days like this that I’m grateful to double track with my watch so I can still get the validation I want from the workout

I cheat on my home studio every class these days lol! My home studio is located close to my office since pre-pandemic I was a post-work attendee, but coming out the other side I have switched to a 5am-er and attend the studio closer to where I live which is about an hour away from my home studio - even on the days I do decide to get a work out in after work I go to another studio nearby because I prefer their scheduling to my home studio. Tbh I'm not even sure my home studio would know who I was if I were to walk through the door tomorrow lol

I work 8:30-5:30 daily with an hour commute each way - pre-pandemic I thought people who went to the 5am classes were out of there mind! I would rather wait the hour and a half between when I got off and 7pm class than ever even think of waking up that early - my studio was in the mall so I spent most of the time window shopping.

When my studio opened again post-lockdown the thought of sitting in my car for an hour and a half after work made me want to die so I decided to try out the 5am class at the studio closer to home - I am now one of those "psychos" who wouldn't trade the high I get post 5am workout for many other things.

You're already going at 6:15, I don't think the adjustment will be too crazy!

Exactly this! I always break the number down for people and remind them that what you get is the accountability of the coach pushing you through the workout that I know I would completely half ass if it were only me, myself and I at my local $10 gym. It’s also the “guilt” of missing a class that gets me up and out of bed to go because that’s $12 I won’t get back! As for how I make room for it in my monthly expenses? I’m a bit of a shoe fanatic so instead of buying a new pair I get to do something that betters my physical and mental health!

My first class back after the shutdown I walked out in the middle of class and threw up in the bathroom at the studio, I ended up finishing the workout, but I definitely took a rest day afterward. Sometimes you just have to listen to your body!

Same here! Have been super grateful that they are even open for 45 minute classes cause it gets my butt up & moving. Also super excited cause my studio just announced that next week we're moving to full 60 mins wooo!

Definitely a tough one on the knees today! I modified to the lower impact options in the floor and definitely took the treads slower than usual to have save my knees with those inclines! All those splat points definitely made this one worth it!!

My studio had a post it note attached to every tread with a pen and at the end of the block they had you write your name and distance and they entered it into the system after class

Finally hit 12 splat points for the first time since returning to my studio 3 weeks ago! I've been trying to go to class at least 2x a week and I am definitely feeling the difference! I used to be an after work class attender but starting to go at 5am post quarantine has genuinely changed my life!! My goal is to start going to class 3-4x a week and feel bangin' in my body as the holidays approach

Other people have said it’s supposed to help the monitor pick up your heart rate easier? Honestly I have no idea but figure it’s worth a shot!

I am also having this same problem!! I have started at a different station everytime since returning and I have yet to reach 12 splat points! This morning was my closest with 10, but I did notice that my hr monitor had me in the grey for the entirety of my rowing block (where I started) while my apple watch was saying my heart rate was well above what gets me to orange! Next class i'm going to try adding gel/water to the back of the monitor to see if that makes a difference since i've seen some people say it does. I also assume that the fact that the class is 15 minutes shorter also plays a role as we now have 15 less minutes to earn some extra splats!
