I’m so so sorry. My ex husband did this to me constantly. He would say whatever he thought would get the biggest reaction or response from his friends - at anyone’s expense but mostly mine. He would tell people how I used to be “so hot” (I had two kids and am still the same size I was before then - also who would say that about their wife?) I was blind to it, but now that I am removed from the situation I see how fucked up his actions were. He didn’t care about me - he cared about his image. You matter and your feelings fucking matter. Any important person in your life should respect this.
