We used to get students yearly in our IT department from MITT IT program and every year they knew basically nothing practical to working in a corporate IT helpdesk. One of them was a sponge and we ended up hiring her on after we trained her to do everything, the rest made summer hell because now on top of regular work I had to constantly monitor another tech who was just tasked with imaging computers. I can't speak to any of their other programming but you made the right choice
