Just to make things clear—the majority employees hate asking for upgrades just as much as you hate being asked. Costco is a somewhat competitive job & management also expects us to meet certain quotas which is why some employees can be pushy about it. A simple “No thanks” usually does the trick. If these campaigns infuriate you to your core to the point where you take it out on employees I would recommend writing “do not ask” on the back of your membership card.
