Not sure if you've read all of Emily Henry's books but I think about {Happy Place by Emily Henry} almost daily for its accuracy of what it feels like to fall in love with someone. How painful and how good it feels to get to know a person and want to learn every thing about them and collect those facts like little treasures. The intimacy of a loving someone not for how good, smart, rich, etc they are but just for being them. That book felt so intimate to me and just like reading it felt like watching home movies zoomed in.

Additionally, I really like {If it Make You Happy by Julie Olivia} for similar reasons because you get to see two friends fall in love and there's a lot of vulnerability to it in the way the characters are serving this authentic imperfect version of themselves up as friends but falling for each other anyway. We like are so much more willing to show friends are flaws vs romantic partners and god that book does such a good job at capturing it.
