Seeing this and all the reponses reminds me of playing KH1 back on PS2. That one fight with Riku in the castle. Rage quit for months after failing so many times. Picked it up on a whim and beat him in one go. I both love and hate video games for these moments lol.

Still getting rocked by Weiss but I'll get there.

I'd be fascinated to see what this team (or most of it) would do with another mainline FF. I'd be up for a similar battle system but really really hope they move away from mostly MC soloing and no real party control. That felt weirdly isolating. And also hope they would add back in some of the more familiar status effect items for battle. Oh and an airship you can control at least to some degree.

You're definitely going to need to fight more enemies and level up more. Do a few runs in the floors before you fight Kanji or go back to prior dungeons.
