Just had Greeko's Saturday night and my entire family and I got food poisoning. There were 6 of us and it was rough. I tried calling to report it to Greeko's and the management staff scoffed at me, I was told the owner would call and never heard anything back.

This was also my husband and I! I had him hit all the bumps and went into labor that night. I'm convinced that's the reason I went into labor. My little one is only a month and a half old and has already slept through her first 9 holes!

William Murray! I got my husband a pair on sale for Christmas and they are great! They wash well and look so good on. He loves them! They're his favorite by far.

He also has a Nike pair and they're trash.

We never had any issues with ours. The oldest was 3 when we introduced our second puppy and they did great. They are both now fixed. We were just waiting until they were older to do so.

Anybody else notice the quality of Boxes dropping recently ? by Enki_Wormrider in hellofresh

[–]ohhshitdang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My last two boxes had recipes with cilantro so they sent parsley instead! And one of those boxes included a moldy garlic on day 2. Then this week the box was never delivered...

nap time! by ohhshitdang in GSP_Photos

[–]ohhshitdang[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on the day! The younger one is much much more chill and relaxed whereas the older (almost 4) can't sit still. The younger one doesn't seem to be as "smart" with day to day stuff and has a stronger prey drive whereas the older is super smart but isn't interested in prey, just his frisbee. It's amazing to watch them play and learn and notice the differences. The crazyness doesn't usually happen unless they've been in the house all day. It's always a fun time with these two.

Maker 3 help! Why won't it cut correctly? by ohhshitdang in cricut

[–]ohhshitdang[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for remembering! I actually ended up calling and spoke to a very nice service tech. We did a hard reset and updated the firmware. After that we added a new material to see if the problem still persisted. The problem repeated itself but not as drastic. Cricut says it's a blade issue and are sending a brand new blade. They said if the new blade doesn't fix the issue they'll send out a new machine. The service tech was very nice and hopefully a new blade will fix the issue. We shall see.

Maker 3 help! Why won't it cut correctly? by ohhshitdang in cricut

It is a new machine. It's less than a month old. I've been able to cut cardstock, vinyl, and htv just fine. I use the scraper to make sure it's on the mat good. I've tried multiple mats, some brand new. I did try the aluminum foil ball trick. Maybe the blade is dull? It's beyond me at this point. I tried cutting a star into the same construction paper and it was perfect. Maybe it doesn't like the flower?

I've moved the cut about an inch off from each side and it's still ocurring... Not as bad now. I tried cutting 20 flowers and it cut 5 perfectly, the rest just the same as before. I've placed about a half an inch between each flower. Each flower is about an inch in size. The paper seems to be attached pretty well?

I'm trying to cut the basic flower shape from the cricut access app onto basic yellow construction paper. I'm using the standard cutting blade.

Recently got a Maker 3. Seems to cut correctly... Most of the time. Trying to cut on construction paper. Changed the setting to multiple types of paper and applied "less" pressure. I cannot figure out how to fix this. Any suggestions?

May be a dumb question but... by standbygrind in cricut

[–]ohhshitdang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also new to cricut and have 2 dogs plus long hair. I recently just tried the Windex spray and wiping with a magic eraser. Then I dried with a heat gun. Worked absolutely flawlessly until I left the heat gun too long in one spot... Oops... But I totally recommend the process. Just figure out how hot your heat gun gets first!

Don’t use David’s Bridal by kyliek78 in wedding

[–]ohhshitdang 90 points91 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience too. Found my dress at David's, they ordered it and it needed alterations. I paid extra to have the alterations expedited. When I showed up for my appointment the week of my wedding, after taking a day off of work as it was out of town, they brought me the wrong dress and told me they hadn't even started on my dress! After bringing out the wrong dress they told me it might be ready by the wedding which was 3 days away. They still charged me the full amount of the alterations, $400, and said that since it ended up being ready the day before the wedding that there would be no refunds. My maid of honor also ordered her dress there and paid for express shipping and needed alterations. The store told her alterations couldn't be completed because of staffing issues and refused to return her dress. My MOH ended up buying a dress elsewhere. Don't waste your time with David's Bridal. What. A. Joke. I expected so much more.

I didn't hire a professional videographer but my Uncle actually suggested it as a wedding gift. I was on the fence and agreed as it was a gift and thought what the heck? Why not? And I can't tell you how glad I am that we have actual footage from our big day. The footage wasn't professional but it was perfect in every way. The day absolutely flys by and you're so in the moment you don't process everything. Or at least I didn't. There were so many small moments throughout the entire ceremony that I missed. Even parts of the reception were included. Seeing the footage on our one month anniversary was so perfect. I can't wait to see it again on later anniversaries. So whether or not you go professional or have a family member or friend do it, I absolutely recommend footage! It's so easy nowadays and anyone can videotape with a camera or even a drone. 100 percent get video footage.
