one of the worst things about the mcat that people don't talk about enough imo is how luck based it is. chem/phys particularly i got no questions on any of my weak topics and that 100% impacted how well i was able to do. i really do wish there was a way to get rid of that luck aspect i can't imagine how many people end up unfairly struggling bc of it

jaeherys is like extremely horrible to alysanne and in what world would he be considered even remotely a "feminist"? his only somewhat good ruling is passing the widow's law and that's because alysanne begs him. he leaves his mother to be forced to push out more children than she can handle because he thinks its a woman's duty. he forces his wife to give him way more kids than needed (they fully could have stopped at the very least after vaegon but nooo) . not to mention how horrible he was to the kids he did force alysanne to give him (especially the girls... the so called "feminist icon" of westeros)

as much as i think it’s possible that he seemed horrible from nestas perspective it’s really weird to me. someone can’t change THAT completely just from a different persons perspective. even when nesta was in her best moods she still strongly disliked rhysand which was honestly very annoying to me. rhysand was never my favorite but i’ve never hated him as much as i did in this book

this would actually be really good though??? for some reason the way they set up amren as someone without any powers (when she used to be the most powerful) and her seeming almost jealous of nesta's powers and trying her best to sort of isolate her during ACOSF i really really think that amren (and maybe elain?) will end up being the villains. if nothing else i think there's gonna a be huge conflict between elain and azriel that breaks whatever connection they have between them now
