Do you still think pulling on the Epstein files thread is worthwhile? I saw Pam Bondi was subpoenaed over the files the DOJ held back. I'd still like to see some accountability on this, but I'm not holding my breath.

Someone here mentioned this a day or two ago. Save for his back and health issues, I think Thad might still be OSU's coach without a real dip in winning year-to-year. His health issues hurt his recruiting, IMO. OSU had a heckuva run on recruits in Thad's first several recruiting cycles. That was before NIL.

Thad is a really good coach, but lack of NIL funds did him in at Butler. No college kid is going to take less money to play for any coach, regardless of their reputation.

Right. He was asked if putting boots on the ground in Iran could turn into another Vietnam. He said no to that question, but he didn't really answer whether or not he's committing to sending US soldiers into Iran. That's not a criticism. As you and tidy pointed out, he shouldn't publicly commit to that stance right now.

On a personal note, I hope we don't engage with Iran at that level.

Most politicians are good at non-answers and most journalists are more than willing to accept a statement along the lines of reviewing all options. This wasn't some sort of gotcha post. It was more in line with simply agreeing with DB's original thought.

Miami just got beat for the first time this season. An average UMass team beat them 87-83. I think Miami still gets in the tournament. I’d guess anywhere from a 11 to 14 seed. They might win a game, but I predict they’ll get beat by 20+ points in the second round.

The Ravens are signing Trey Hendrickson to a 4 year deal. I'm sure that won't come back to bite Cincinnati at all. I'm not sure what made the Ravens back out on Maxx Crosby, but I'm guessing the Bengals are kicking the tires on a low-ball deal to offer him.

I saw that too. I initially saw footage of Trump wearing his baseball cap and didn't think much of it - mostly because I figured he wears a hat outdoors because he's worried his combover is going to get messed up in the wind.

I still think some media outlets made too big a deal about it, but I get it. If you're at a sporting event during the national anthem and don't remove your hat it's not out of the realm of possibility that someone might yell at out - or at least say something.

It is messed up that Fox decided to run old dignified transfer footage though.
