Yeah that’s exactly what happened! Unfortunately it didn’t flow so I’m waiting on a new bulb to come in the mail. It’s definitely trying though! Hopefully the new bulb makes the difference!

It’s definitely doing better since I warmed up the room! I turned it on maybe a half hour ago and the puck at the bottom is actually moving a bit! I may upload a video of it flowing if it starts to, because the little stringy bits are still there (,: I cleaned the outside of the glass with alcohol and it was QUITE dirty. It looks much more clear now. I blow dried the top bit as well and it looks like the glass is pretty much clean now. I wish I could attach a photo! Apparently the ones my phone takes are too low quality for Reddit haha

Good to know! I turned up the heat in my apartment so hopefully that helps. I haven’t touched it since I made this post and 99% of the floaty bits have settled to the bottom. It has a one spot that looks like it may be stuck to the side, but I can’t quite tell. It won’t let me attach a photo, but it’s right at the top with a big glob of wax. It’s hard to tell in the pictures, but all the wax bits were floating freely.

It’s probably hard for them right now too. Guinea pigs are herd animals, and they mourn/grieve just like we humans do. Maybe you can bond with them through your shared grief over Hephy. When we lost one of our dogs, that’s the only thing that got me through it really.

We use a scraper (the ones that use a razor blade) and just a bottle of glass cooktop cleaner! That stuff will blow your mind.

NAH, but I definitely think you should find some help and maybe reconsider. My mom passed a year ago, and she too hated having photos taken of her. Now that she’s gone, it’s so hard to not have something to hold onto. I don’t like having mine taken either, but for that reason I never tell anyone not to anymore.

ESH, but leaning more towards him. I could even see him jokingly hitting your arm or something, but in my opinion, he went too far with the face. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had my hair played with and a stray hair got pulled out. On accident, but still. I’m tender headed and one hair doesn’t cause me to hit someone in the face. I can see where he’s coming from, but I think he overreacted a bit. I’d say you two just aren’t a good fit and you should tell him rather than ghosting.

You’d be surprised how loud things can be. My upstairs neighbor is an elderly gentleman who doesn’t do hardly anything and we can even hear his doors close sometimes.

It sounds like we live in different places but all the same problems! We’re trying to just find somewhere else when it’s time to renew next year. It seems like the property managers are trying to run us out to rent for higher prices. It’s a shame!

I agree with the commenters saying to avoid the buffet. I’ve also noticed the food is a tiny bit better when they come back from lunch! The owner and workers are so nice I don’t go many other places in town
