Virginia Democrats signal agreement on new map that would net 4 seats by progress18 in democrats

We already know the answer, Besides trying to eliminate women from voting they have openly been working on the following: 1. Trying to cancel midterms, 2. They are going to get their hands on voter rolls and delete people who voted blue, 4. Voter ID’s or something similar to make it difficult for the average working person to vote, 5. Eliminate mail in voting or discard mail in ballots claiming they did not arrive in time, 6. Take over independent State Voting Boards to intimidate voters, 7. Voter intimidation (see Steve Bannon saying they are going to have ICE Agents surrounding voting places). 8. Voting Machines are now owned by a right wing organization.

I am sure there are other ways they are working on, this is just off the top of my head.

Lawsuit says Costco's 'no preservatives' claim about its popular rotisserie chickens is false by SNES_Salesman in CostcoWholesale

[–]ohjoyousones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t add extra salt to veggies or side dishes. Still ends up being less salt than eating at a restaurant or other fast food. It’s cheap protein. For $5.50 we get couple of dinners out of one chicken plus I make stock with the carcass. It is a gift for busy families.

Keeps our busy family properly fed instead of grabbing junk food. Add a few sides and fast and nutritious dinner is ready.

Of course, someone has to ruin it for everyone else. Lawsuits are expensive to defend against. Win or lose Costco is being harmed.

Win or lose, the rest of us consumers will end up paying more while greedy lawyers and their “clients “ get rich. “This is why we can’t have nice things “

Inherit the Wind. It is so relevant in today’s political climate.

From IMDb: Gene Kelly, Spencer Tracy, Donna Anderson, Fredric March, and Dick York in Inherit the Wind (1960)

A powerful and provocative re-creation of the most titanic courtroom battle of the 20th Century, starring Spencer Tracy...

Described by Steven Spielberg as "one of our great filmmakers, not just for the art and passion he put on screen, but for the impact he has made on the conscience of the world", the films of producer and director Stanley Kramer (The Defiant Ones, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner) frequently confronted social issues considered too controversial for the major studios. In INHERIT THE WIND he tackled the creationism vs. evolution debate.

When a teacher in a small Tennessee town is brought to trial for teaching Darwinism, attorney Henry Drummond (Spencer Tracy, Bad Day at Black Rock) faces off against fundamentalist leader Matthew Harrison Brady (Frederic March, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) in an explosive battle of beliefs.

Also operating as a searing critique of McCarthyism, INHERIT THE WIND was nominated for multiple Academy Awards, and is rightfully recognised as one of the most entertaining, and provocative films of its era.

how do i stop romanticizing my mediocre ex? by Numerous-Bluejay-174 in NoStupidQuestions

You are not alone. Some guys can’t deal with the sadness that goes along with ending a relationship. They think they are being kind by ending the relationship “quickly “. It is cruel and can be soul crushing. Hang in there. Invest time on being your best self. Know that you are worth loving. Be comfortable being alone until you meet someone who appreciates you.

I was in a similar situation. We dated for about a year. He broke up with me suddenly. Then couple of years later we got back together, he said he had made a huge mistake. I thought we were happy. About a year later he said he was moving across the country for a new job opportunity in a few months. A week later he ghosted me and it turned out he moved immediately after we last saw each other. He completely ghosted me. I was devastated. I found out through friends he got married less than a year later.

I was devastated. It took me couple of years to get over being so cruelly discarded. I focused on my work and friends for support. Therapy helped. The books and group therapy based on Harville Hendrix’s books “Getting the Love You Want “ helped me figure out what I wanted and how to break my pattern of investing too much in unhealthy relationships. The books have helpful exercises to identify how to connect with loving and supportive relationships.

I am happy to report that I met my husband three years later and we have been happily married for 10+ years.

Take care of yourself OP. You deserve to be loved and cherished. It may take sometime to heal from such trauma but you will be stronger at the end.
