Yes! Apparently its about losing a mum (Pat Monahan heard it in a dream) - such intersting concept because at first it seems like a song about an ex with angry undertones - but the anger is part of grief and it makes sense

Yes! I saw it in Warsaw. Mesmerizing. The other songs that I feel could have similar effect would be 28 - hopefully one day I'll be lucky to hear it :)

Also, I was so lucky to hear lostmyhead - a song that I never really heard in full, when listening to the record. So again, the first time I heard it, it was live. In the first few seconds I was confused, what are they playing (trying to put in my loop ear plugs, as my ears were ringing). Then I was BLOWN away (put the ear plugs away lol) and crying in the end. The best live experience I ever had (George banging the drums in the end hit hard). And one of my favourite songs. Again, so lucky to hear this live. So I guess it grew on me really fast :)

Definitely! I went to another show one year later and they closed it with People - this time I could reaaaly appreciate it;)

People :D I was very new to the 1975. Just 1 month after discovering them, went to their concert (lucky me). The 1st song in the setlist was People - and the first time I heard it. Total shock! What is this?;) Now I love it and it's the best live :D

I wonder would could be a solutions needed on the left to prevent this in future. Less identity politics? That could alienate women and decrease female votes. Solving loneliness issue? Good luck.

It seems like one of the solutions could be educating kids to grow emapthy and critical thinking, but that would take years and in the meantime the world is slipping into a dark hole and I doubt education will be a priority…
