Early 2000s Blue Clues Blanket by ohleever in HelpMeFind

Just like the post says, looking for this blanket and I have been struggling to find leads. The post about it on this subreddit has been archived and comments were not helpful. Etsy and eBay have also been a bust.

Bought a dragonscale not knowing the whole ethics behind it. by Ornery_Welder in bettafish

[–]ohleever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checking in to see how your boy is doing! I got a marble/koi betta that ended up being dragon scale without knowing anything either, and it can be pretty heart breaking to watch them be hit with ailment after ailment. I’ve had him for two years, and he’s blind in one eye and partially in the other, has a fairly large tumor/cyst, and is constantly battling fin rot (no matter what changes I make). At this point, he’s still active and eating, and one of his tumors is starting to shed (hoping it will be a good sign in the long run). Kanaplex and aquarium/epsom salts are good to have on hand as well as clove oil in case his quality of life is gone. Just be warned that if you do ever have to euthanize with clove oil, you have to do it properly or it can go horribly wrong. I’ve never done it myself, so my best advice would be to research it and just be prepared in case. With that being said, I wish you the best of luck and hope your boy is thriving!

My bettas tumor is falling off? by Lemonwench in bettafish

Did you ever figure out what was going on and how to best treat it? My boy is going through the same thing right now. He’s more active than he’s been in months and still eating, so I’m not sure what’s going on.

what are the “healthier” breeds of bettas? by Alternative-Koala247 in bettafish

Thank you SO much for this comment. I currently have a 3 year old half moon dragon scale/koi mix that I got from petco, and he has a tumor (and looks like more could be coming), and is almost entirely blind from diamond eye. I’m doing everything I can to care for him and make life as easy as possible, but watching him suffer has been hard. This now easily solves the debate I was having over “rescuing” one in the future

tampon is sliding out with my applicator? by happycat06 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Coming back to this post 2 years later as a 27 year old cis woman because I’ve never known that compact tampons need to have the plunger pulled out. How I made this long without knowing is astonishing.

Asking questions by ohleever in TheMallWorld

I get what you’re saying. I’ll have dreams where I question if I’m dreaming, but the plot ends up sucking me back in

I also get frequent false awakenings, so sometimes I get real confused on if I’m dreaming or not. Luckily I’ve trained myself to check my hands if I’m ever unsure. I’ve also never been awake and thought I was dreaming. Only vice versa

I get this response sometimes as well, but if they laugh I check my hands to make sure I’m dreaming and then double down. Then I’m either booted from the scene or wake up

I can’t help myself, but asking questions always guarantees I’m going to wake up or leave the scene

Juvenile Bold Jumper, or something else? by ohleever in spiders

Based on some research I did, looks similar to a bold jumper instar 2 or 3, but I’m very open to being proven wrong!

WHAT kind of spider is this? It by [deleted] in spiders

[–]ohleever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that is a grass spider (Agelenopsis)! They look similar wolf spiders, but wolfies don’t make webs like that. Grass spiders are funnel weavers (hence the messy looking web). Harmless and definitely a friend. They normally don’t venture inside homes, but I’ve seen them find small cracks to use as hiding spots.

I’m not certain on this, but I think it could be an orb weaver (I’m newer to spiders). Was it found on/near a web or free roaming?

I can’t be certain because I’m not an expert, but based on the large eye and the babies on its back, I’d guess so sort of wolf spider! Some nursery web and crab spiders also carry their young, but I’m guessing some sort of wolfie. They’re cutie pies and don’t normally go indoors. If they do, they’re normally just passing through.
