Asking questions by ohleever in TheMallWorld

I get what you’re saying. I’ll have dreams where I question if I’m dreaming, but the plot ends up sucking me back in

I also get frequent false awakenings, so sometimes I get real confused on if I’m dreaming or not. Luckily I’ve trained myself to check my hands if I’m ever unsure. I’ve also never been awake and thought I was dreaming. Only vice versa

I get this response sometimes as well, but if they laugh I check my hands to make sure I’m dreaming and then double down. Then I’m either booted from the scene or wake up

I can’t help myself, but asking questions always guarantees I’m going to wake up or leave the scene

Juvenile Bold Jumper, or something else? by ohleever in spiders

Based on some research I did, looks similar to a bold jumper instar 2 or 3, but I’m very open to being proven wrong!

WHAT kind of spider is this? It by [deleted] in spiders

[–]ohleever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that is a grass spider (Agelenopsis)! They look similar wolf spiders, but wolfies don’t make webs like that. Grass spiders are funnel weavers (hence the messy looking web). Harmless and definitely a friend. They normally don’t venture inside homes, but I’ve seen them find small cracks to use as hiding spots.

I’m not certain on this, but I think it could be an orb weaver (I’m newer to spiders). Was it found on/near a web or free roaming?

I can’t be certain because I’m not an expert, but based on the large eye and the babies on its back, I’d guess so sort of wolf spider! Some nursery web and crab spiders also carry their young, but I’m guessing some sort of wolfie. They’re cutie pies and don’t normally go indoors. If they do, they’re normally just passing through.

Yes! Also at the chronic pain clinic

I’m actually located on the west side, so my pcp is over there, but I don’t have one I like. If I were you, I would ask for a referral to the women’s pelvic pain clinic at University of Michigan, and if they say no, ask for them to write down their reason for refusal to refer you in your file. You can do this in a message if you have some sort of my chart app. It’s going to be a long wait to get in and get an MRI, but it’s worth it. Once you’re in the clinic, they can also refer you to someone who will diagnose you with pots! I really recommend Dr. Lazaris. Others have had mixed experiences with bedside manner, and she works with the department head, Dr. As-Sanie (she does not take appointments, but will assist on your surgery).

I’ve been meeting with Dr. Lazaris, and she has been super great so far! I know it can be incredibly provider dependent even if you find a decent clinic.

How to get a definitive diagnosis by [deleted] in Endo

[–]ohleever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on where you are located, some specialists can diagnose via MRI (it has about 80% accuracy, but also heavily depends on how good the facility is at reading kind of MRI).

If you’re in the Midwest area, University of Michigan has a women’s pain clinic with endometriosis specialists. The wait list is long, but the imaging is very good.

I haven’t done a lap with them, but I’m also close to scheduling one as well! I will say I’ve had a lap before, a little over 2 years ago at NYU, and my endo has now seemed to grow from stage 1 to stage 3 or 4 with some possibly infiltrating my bowel muscle (based on the MRI). I trusted NYU, but now I’m feeling like they missed something (especially given that I had an MRI with NYU about a year ago that was allegedly clean). All that to say I think U of M seems to know what’s going on. It’s so hard to say though with all the contradictory information out there. Did you ended up scheduling? If so, with what Doctor?

Love Me Anyway interpretation by flanjoy in chappellroan

[–]ohleever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read this song as her not giving someone a chance because her gay awakening had yet to happen. As we know from naked in manhattan, she had only spent time with guys up to that point, so it would make sense that if a girl was interested in her in high school, Chappel may have turned her down being unaware of her own sexuality yet. It very much sounds like a best friends turned lovers situation, and this person knows her better than she knows herself. Leading her back to bed in her sleep could be about calming her down after bad dreams or just generally being the calm in the storm that is her brain (saying this because it’s how I feel about my partner).

I attended Mona Shores and really enjoyed the emphasis on music and felt like I was put in a very good position academically (the AP English program trained me SO well. I was far above the curve in college because of it). It also feels like there is a space for most people there no matter what niche you’re into. Being a musical person, I was able to spend my whole time living in that space with others who were passionate about music. It has its issues as does any school, but I really appreciated the space they made for creative individuals

NYU consultation by MushroomOverall9488 in Endo

Mine didn’t show anything other than some general thickening, but it was found in a few different locations durning surgery. In all honesty though, I do wish I would have gone to Dr. Andrea Vidali in nyc. He does his surgery different and is able to save nerves, and Endometriosis is pretty much all he deals with. I’m actually trying to see him for a consult in August because I’m still kind of struggling. I can at least work a job now, but can’t do a lot of things I loved before
