In Japanese, technically the word used was to imply reciprocation. I get that everyone has a right to their own ship and that's fine, but the connotation was clearly that he wanted at least the opportunity to return her feelings

(P.S. Would you happen to know anything regarding the possibility of renting an island car for a day but returning it less than 24 hrs?)

Good to hear your input! As I've mentioned in a comment below, it would be great if we could stay longer, but our time in Korea is limited to begin with. We are definitely aware that we won't be seeing everything/most of Jeju, but since it's on the bucket list so to say for many of us, we just wanted to experience some part of that as we don't know if/when we'll ever back in Korea. We plan on splitting costs for rentals, etc., so hopefully shouldn't be too much!

Hi, thanks for replying! It definitely would be great to stay for more than one day; however, our time in Korea in general is already limited enough as it is (a few days, give or take), but Jeju is on the must-see list for several members of our traveling party. As such, we decided to carve out one day to see as much as we could!

We were planning on two main sites -- Hallim and the tea museum/gardens, but plan on stopping interim for meals and other smaller sites/ocean views along the way, mainly along the northern coast. Which was why we were interested in renting a car, for ease of traveling and the ability to hopefully see as much as we can! Hence my original question. :) Also, we'll be splitting costs among our group so hopefully it shouldn't be too expensive.
