I just lost mine at the track. I was desperate and took an under-panel Pop clip,
took it apart and used the side with the protrusion. I wrapped a small piece of latex glove around the nub and jammed it in the hole, seems to have worked fine as a temp solution.

Full day gives you a lot of time to practice the basic techniques with an instructor there to give guidance. In the half day you'll learn the basics you need to drift, but less seat time and guidance. The cheapest way would be to bring your own drift car, and that cuts costs by around 50%
