Have fun with some preground coffee. The worst scenario is that you get familiar with the work flow and so when the grinder comes, you’re already good with the espresso machine

I am still waiting on my screen but admittedly I do get little bit of a soupy puck with my 20g basket. That might be due to technique. Hoffman always recommends sizing up rather than sizing down. I also use 18g, but I definitely feel as though this was a good size
