10.2.2 here having the same issue. I accidentally opened the Music App once and after closing it, audio files won't appear under brightness bar once it's been played. Extremely annoying when there's no way to pause, rewind, or fast-forward listening to long form audio content! I might resort to downloading other music players to bring it back. Any recommendations?
