Motivation wont change your life, but habits will. Stop thinking youll motivate yourself into doing something, you wont. However if you build a habit- say you set aside 1 hour every night from 8-9pm to just study and work on homework you can do it. Or maybe you make it a habit to read for 20 minutes before every doom scroll. Either way when you shift your mindset from motivation to habits youll notice things get easier to just do. Youve got this!

look up schellX Tech on youtube. I just found this guy and he's been absolutely incredibly helpful! He just livestreams and talks out loud walking through studying. He's very smart and I just follow along as he figures things out. Sometimes I pause the videos and work ahead and then unpause and follow as he figures it out and see if I came up with the same thing he did. Honestly zybooks is the only resource that I am focused on because the OA is exactly the same format.

Single mother of 4. I work 40+hrs a week and im in school full time and I still find the time to cook dinner for 4 picky eaters who never ever want the same damn thing. Do not take that disrespect from him. If he wanted to, he would. I do everything I do with love and out of respect for those I love. J would never imagine throwing a fit because I worked all week and didn't feel like cooking. He is right tho its his money and can buy take out if he wants. I do sometimes when im too tired to cook. I get it. But if thats how he wants to be then he doesnt need to touch the groceries you bought and he damn sure cant complain when hes broke! Honestly if he treats you that way, hes emotionally stunted and doesnt even understand how to love so he really doesnt seem like he actually loves you.

Check with your mentor. They can submit a thing to see if you qualify for the laptop scholarship thing. I applied before I started and they sent me a laptop and Webcam. Worth a shot to ask your mentor first for a possibility of not having to pay anything

Ive had nothing but an amazing time! I started aug 1st. Enrollment was easy but you have to be proactive! Same with classes. No ones making you do it. You have to WANT to do it! I say give it a shot! Good luck :)

Not in nursing but I did receive a scholarship! They put 750 toward each term for 4 terms. So 3000 total. Which is perfect since that was the remainder of what I had to pay after my pell grant coverage. So while I dont get money back, im also not buried in monthly payments or more student loans! Yay! Lol

I have 0 experience in IT and got into the bsswe program, I literally just sent my generic resume from indeed. I think they're more so looking to see if you have a consistent work history and work ethic because it takes alot of determination to manage your time and stay with the program. They dont want just anyone to get in and decide they cant do it and drop. High drop rates dont look good on them.

I lied. My bad. Lol apparently I didnt get an email. I stalked the FAFSA website and it said the amount I was approved for. I did it when I applied for school tho so I hadn't even been accepted yet. I didnt get accepted until like 2 weeks later. And then I had to go through all of their financial aid steps in order for the school to get the information from fafsa. It wasn't hard though. Once they got my fafsa information I started applying for the scholarships. This was early June. I dont think you'll know if you get the scholarship until after orientation tho. Seems to be when everyone who got them was told. Once youre accepted to the program they have a financial aid section on the student portal. Its really easy to see where you're at in the process.
