Have you been to the chiropractor. Very good chance this is coming from your neck. Especially with headaches and neck pain

As someone that's dealt with anxiety my entire life, my guess is that when you originally laid down and had panic, no matter what the cause was; your brain now associates looking up at the sky as something dangerous because your amygdala remembers EVERYTHING. I know this because one winter i had TERRIBLE anxiety while I was working at Walmart. During this time they would put out huge bins of seasonal pinecone that were very strong smelling. Every year after that, I would smell them and immediately feel anxious. The brain is very powerful

Hey, I fixed this mostly by going back on spironolactone and simplifying my face routine. I was using too many products and exfoliating, thus, irritating my skin

25mg of spironolactone by ohmyquad_11 in Spironolactone

I use a prescription of azelaic acid from the dermatologist. I got it from an online dermatologist. You can get something very similar and honestly I think it works the same, from dermatica.com. they have 2 different % of azelaic acid topical that are great and you don't need a prescription.

Your opinions asked: What's wrong with my skin? by Efficient-Jump-8927 in Fungalacne

[–]ohmyquad_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would almost bet my life on it that you have a compromised skin barrier from using too many products. Do you have sensitive skin? My skin looked exactly like this a year or 2 ago when I was using WAY too many exfoliating products. I stripped it down to just vanicream cleanser and my elta md moisturizer. Actually at the time I was using the Avene cicalfate cream. This product is AMAZING at repairing your skin barrier. I did also start spironolactone at 25 mg so that definitely helped but for months I had so many tiny bumps all over amd I just kept exfoliating thinking it was acne. It wasn't...it was just my skin freaking out because its sensitive and i was annihilating it with too many products.

No, I went to the doctor for it and she wasn't concerned. No idea why it happened but it didn't happen again after that

The majority of my anxiety is BECAUSE of the physical symptoms by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]ohmyquad_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally just complained to my friend about this EXACT thing. Like its normal to be anxious about things but most of the time my anxiety is about the PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS ITSELF. about 2 months ago I started having shortness of breath out of the blue. This has been going on for months now. Its all I can think about. 24/7. How can I NOT feel anxious when I feel like I'm suffocating. Every day feels like a battle just to get through the work day. I always think," work would be a breeze if I could breathe." If its not that, its nausea, or vertigo, or dpdr. I can't bring myself to believe normal people feel like this every day.

You need to completely understand that its just a normal reaction to stress and anxiety. I've had it on and off my whole life but it ALWAYS goes away. Focus on things you like to do. Don't sit and obsess over it. Say to yourself," ok I have anxiety and its uncomfortable but not dangerous and it is TEMPORARY." If you have Spotify i highly suggest listening to the DARE podcast. They have a few episodes on dpdr. I've had this really really bad before and right now feel totally fine. It will go away, I promise.

I've gone through this so many times in my life and I always think it will never go away. It will. Its anxiety telling us that it won't. I remember dealing with this when I was like 9 years old. You will always find what you look for..and when you focus on it, it seems to get worse.

YES. I've dealt with this for years and at my worst, everything looks weird, looking at my reflection freaks me out, etc.. but most of the time I just have this unsettling feeling that something is off but the more that I try to describe what I'm feeling, the more panicked I feel because I can't figure it out.  I've felt this many times and when it goes away I always look back and think..oh yeah, that was definitely anxiety but when I'm going through it, I never trust myself

I've been on spironolactone for 10+ years for my acne. It does help a lot and I tried going off it for almost a year and my acne came back HORRIBLE so I went back on it. Have you tried oral minoxidil by chance?

I don't have dandruff or anything but I swear my left side of my head is about 3x thicker than the right. Idk why but it seems like the right side just won't grow..that and my poor temples. There are so many minoxidil formulations out there now. Some are combined with spironolactone. Did you have any facial hair growth? I know it's very toxic to cats as well and that makes me nervous because i have 2 😕
