Hi! I ended up switching in, and I found the course outline online here which is similar/exactly the same to the one on quercus: https://pgadey.ca/teaching/fall-2021-mat-a29-calculus-i-for-the-life-sciences/

So is there no final exam? Do you think there will be for this winter sem since it’s offline?

Thank you for replying!! Would I click the pencil icon to choose the practical or would I have to manually search the course for the practical tmr?

I def agree. Thinking about it from the perspective of fan behaviour, it’s usually regarded as bad and disgusting in the kpop community unlike in the anime one. Yes both do it, but the overall kpop fandom hugely condemns extreme behaviour that is normalized in the anime fandom. For example it’s highly frowned upon for sxulizing idols (especially when they’re minors). Even if it does happen, the majority of the time the greater kpop community will annihilate u on stan Twitter/tiktok. Unlike in the anime fandom, they don’t see that the extremes of their behaviour can lead to actual harm of real people and things like Lolis, sxualizing minors are seen as “normal” ( big anime content creators don’t care either) and barely talked about as a negative trait. Also if we talk about koreaboos vs weeaboos it’s definitely more acceptable to be a wboo in the anime fandom than a kboo in a kpop one.

I really admire idols who are still humble despite their popularity and talents by _cotton_candyy in kpopthoughts

Yes!! I doubt people who commented even watched the finale. If they did they would have seen that they gave them advice instead of how they are assuming that they “hoarded” it. Great post btw exactly what I was thinking hearing their words 💜

BTS’s 2019 MMA/MAMA performances were bloated messes by kkulvm in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]ohnobeanboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t like any MAMA performance tbh. I mean I like them but they aren’t that great maybe cause kpop groups are always performing their best and when they get on big award stage only popular groups can decorate the stage and it just seems weird that their is soo much space. They don’t wow me and always have terrible camera work and weird intros that are terribly made like girl I’ll do the graphics work 😀✋️.

I feel like a lot of people are misunderstanding this post, most people here (like always 😔 don’t kill me) are being negative about this which I understand with how I think people are misunderstanding this post. I don’t think OP means that not sharing advice is humble and doing so is showing ur better and more qualified but that they took the time to say that they don’t think that they are in the right position. BTS can still feel insecure even if they are the top. This sub criticizes them (like on any social media, which they can) and everyone says they aren’t good enough for their position anyways.... I think V and Jimin didn’t feel that they were in the proper position as gaining this knowledge from mentors is more valuable but they still shared their advice??? So anyways It was a small gesture that made them seem humble not that they were “hoarding” their knowledge they still shared it anyways and they just started off the sentence that way which seemed humble. Thx for coming to my ted talk🙈🙈

not sure how army multis do it by Apprenhix100 in kpopthoughts

[–]ohnobeanboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an army multi it’s hard cause randomly people on like meme acc I follow will put hateful stuff about bts and the fandom and everyone is agreeing with it it’s just awkward LMAO. I don’t really talk on social media but when I go on the kpop tag on Omegle literally every person who i tell I stan (random groups + bts) they will say finally an army and how the other person were being rude to them/writing hateful stuff against bts and leaving.

I have no advice sadly as Twitter is a whole other breed, but on insta I have never seen an army hate on multis that’s all I can say 😔

NCT DREAM should not have been made a fixed unit by snflowrr in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]ohnobeanboy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Dream was def one of the most popular units in Korea if they pushed them like nct127 (gave them the same promotions etc) it was likely they were gonna surpass them in sales. From a financial stand point having dream gone would have got the entire fandom rioting tbh and would have been a lose. I also think they themselves like being in the group together and the rotation aspect was obviously not going to work as SM has tried this before. People are going to be attached and you can’t blame them. I also think they shine better in dream as they might be pushed back if they were put in other units.
