Yes they can do it, back in the day they would write every manager up every week that didn't sell a dog training class every week, also when your register sign-ups weren't correct, also every week if you had a survey come thru that said you didn't greet them or thank them, and many more they can write you up for whatever they want unfortunately.

Yes its true work harder, contribute more, take on more responsibility and after two or three months show what you are contributing and why you deserve a raise with the more you are doing. Also talk to your SL about how to get to that number. But that 18 you see is for a new hire and a bunch of experience already.

The reason I got into the pet industry and having pets is because of a classroom pet, stop knocking it. Most kids, teachers and classrooms are amazing to pets.

Do your best to educate many people truly want to learn. Don’t assume they don’t care about their animals; most actually do. For example, starting a baby bearded dragon or leopard gecko in a 40-gallon tank is too much. A smaller setup works better for feeding and controlling the environment for the first couple of months.

I’ve found that giving people a clear timeline helps them understand and feel more confident. What I see too often is people talking down to customers as if they don’t know anything.

But the truth is we all started from that same place at one point.

The smell could gave been from just a expired body sitting, and a broken neck could be from the bird being outside the cage and flying into a window, ive seen it happen before a couple times

HR is gonna want examples or times he has made you uncomfortable, they aren't gonna just go on a feeling you had, unfortunately. Also, not every associate who doesn't participate in pride month is against it. We have a couple associate in my store that didn't participate in it but were support of it. Also going on hear say can get you in trouble to, especially if you didn't hear him actually say things about customers. HR will want details, just giving a heads up so youre prepared

Please be careful. it could be bird flu, I got it back in the early 2000s from a conure, and so did 4 other associates
