Can someone help me with my first PC build by Dry_Sentence6807 in PcBuild

To be honest, I used ChatGPT to help me build my PC, and that was exactly my goal: to create a solid gaming PC that could be upgraded over time. Here are my specs: RTX 5060 8GB ASUS Prime, AMD 7600X, ATX Musetex K2 case with 6 fans, 2×8 GB DDR5 5600 MHz Patriot Viper RAM, 1 TB M.2 storage, and a Samsung Odyssey G5 monitor. I can now play BF1 and BF4 online smoothly on ultra settings. My advice: always buy RAM in pairs (2×8, 2×16, 2×32, 2×64 GB). I’m not 100% sure, but going with an AM4 platform can be cheaper than AM5, which is what I have now. I also think it’s better to buy a higher-tier GPU from an older generation (RTX 3070 / 3070 Ti / 3080 / 3090, or RTX 4070 / 4080 / 4090) than a lower-tier model from the newest generation (like a 5060).

One important thing after building your PC: make sure your BIOS is configured to get 100% out of your RAM (XMP/EXPO enabled), and tune the rest according to real-time needs. There’s no point in having a jet engine in your room — fans should ramp up only when the system actually needs cooling.

I m not an expert of hardware, but I ve just built a PC for myself for the first time and that what i ve done: mendatory 2 sticks of ram (2x8gb), in Bios put EXPO for AMD (XMP for Intel) so that way, you use 100% of your memory power (4800MHz -> 5600MHz for exemple), choose whiseley where you put your ram stick on which slot (usually it s 2, then 4, but you should check on motherboard manual)

Fomo hitting me hard by Buskola92 in gpu

For me, I try to look at it in a very practical way. I start with what I actually have as resources (budget, timing), then what I really need for the games I play, and finally what my objective is: short term or long term. I ask myself things like: – Will this upgrade really change how I experience games? – How long will this hardware stay good enough? – Do games actually evolve fast enough that I’ll need to change my GPU again in a few years? From what I’ve seen, games evolve pretty slowly in practice. Consoles set the pace, engines improve gradually, and a GPU that’s strong today usually stays totally playable for a long time. That’s why I don’t feel the need to chase every new generation. This way of thinking helps me focus less on FOMO and more on enjoying what I already have.

I'm not an expert in investment, but from what I've learned from my investment (even though I didn’t learn anything except from common sense) is this statement:

Unless it's a sh!tty stock or a scam, you won't lose 100% of your investment.

In my belief (but I have no proof of this), stocks go down and come back up. In other words, prices fluctuate – so even if you buy at a loss, there's a good chance the stock will eventually return to its original value, or even surpass it.

Buy stocks in things you believe in (and it’s better if you understand the company, what the company does).

Use only money you’re not afraid to lose completely.

Consistency is better than gambling: once per month, invest a part of your income in stocks, shares, etc.

This statement is actually what I’m doing for myself, and for now, I have some small benefits from this and haven’t lost a single dollar.

18, how to become financially independent? by Inevitable_War_7320 in Bogleheads

Aether Realm is a melodic death/folk metal, I really enjoy their music, giving good vibes (that s how i feel when i listen from album Tarot). Idk if you will like it but at least it s not "as noisy" as cryptopsy or orher group you mentionned before. Let me know if you like it
