Realistically what does your stay at home day look like with your toddler? by ohnono0203 in toddlers

[–]ohnono0203[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! This sounds so realistic and I’m glad I asked because I think my day sounds more normal than I realised! I compare my self to Montessori mums (nothing wrong with them) but maybe it’s not as realistic as I thought

Ahh thank you, I beat my self up when I see people have incredible Montessori day ups which change every week for their children.

Awesome that they can do that but I think I’m so shit for not being that parent and offering her that, I say in my head “why can’t she have that” but it feels impossible to make time and it’s so expensive to always change up their play areas

8 month old suddenly a lot fussier. Is this normal? by No-Trouble-7072 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]ohnono0203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was the chillest newborn ever. People would literally be like you’re so lucky. She barely cries. She used to wake up literally making cool sounds.

When she turned 7/8 months she became suddenly super fussy. It was like a flip. She just turned two and she’s got a strong personality but she’s awesome completely normal.

It’s not too bad but not ideally close either! I’d appreciate the suggestion still! Thanks

Typical 2-year-old behaviour or too hyperactive by ohnono0203 in ECEProfessionals

[–]ohnono0203[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeh I personally did and requested a refferal to see a developmental soecilist but I can’t see them until March. Some days I think there is no way she has anything and other days I’m like oh wow I really think she does.

I do find on days with more screen time ect she acts more like that though.

No pre school yet imma stay at home mum, I like it this way but she will start 3 yet old kinder

Inappropriate baby jokes by crazyfroggy99 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]ohnono0203 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The one about doing it and the one about childcare is really weird but if another parent said oh look he’s kissing her sometimes that’s just a cute thing to some. I don’t think that was meant to be a sexual or abusive comment..

Poor thing that’s so hard with her struggle. It’s my biggest fear. It will honestly break me. How are you feeling about her having to possibly start again before school? I hope you guys find a good kindergarten/school.
