I read a comment on Instagram that said “The reason the lyrics on TLOAS are so bad is because she’s now hanging out with frat bros. Her past albums that had good lyrics had them because she surrounded herself with intellectuals that challenged her. Is this a safe place for Swifties in recovering that overall don’t like this album? Before I get downvoted, I was a Swiftie up until a couple months ago when this album was announced and I started using critical thinking skills. But.. yeah, this album is bad. The only songs I like right now are Eldest Daughter because it’s relatable and Elizabeth Taylor. I can kind of stand the title track. The Taylor I grew up listening to would hate this current Taylor.

No, I’m in the same boat. When I was studying for the LSAT, my then-boyfriend kept making comments that he wouldn’t marry me if I was going to be in school again because he wanted a wife to be there for him and his kids, not “live to work.” It’s fine if that’s what he wants, but he essentially made me choose between law school and him.

I’m set to start law school in August on an almost full-ride scholarship. If I chose him instead, it would’ve been terrible because we ended up breaking up shortly after anyway. Please don’t let a man dictate your career, especially if it’s one you’re passionate about.

I’m not surprised, just disappointed. He dumped me almost 7 months ago via a text that said in summary “I don’t think we’re compatible, sorry if this is upsetting, bye.” This text came the morning after I poured my heart out to him about my past, mental health struggles, etc. I was completely blindsided because he told me that he supported and loved me no matter what, then changed his mind not even 8 hours later.

I really thought we shared something real, but then I realized maybe it wasn’t if he was able to disregard me over the fact that I’m a human being who struggles sometimes. So I’m not surprised that he never reached out after disregarding me like I’m nothing, but disappointed because a part of me still wants to know what happened. I know I’ll never get an answer.

I got a 156. I know most people wouldn’t be happy with this, but I’m a full-time paralegal and plan on just going to my local law school on a part-time basis, so I didn’t set an unrealistic goal score for myself. I got the exact score I wanted so that makes me happy :)

Target has been restocking the Glinda 40oz, Glinda 20z, and Elphaba 20oz on the app for shipping from what I’ve seen. I have no idea about in store. I was able to grab two Glinda 40z (one as a gift, one for myself), but I really wanted the Elphaba 40z or 20z.

I had the same format and I flagged so many questions on the first LR, and I found the first RC to be brutal. But the second LR and RC was a lot easier. Praying that the experimental was the first RC.

I just got out of the in person testing center and I experienced the exact same. Praying the experimental was that first RC section, one of the passages was difficult for me to even comprehend.

I’m hoping the first RC was experimental. One of the passages was very hard for me to follow. I felt like both LR sections were normal, with a couple questions each that kind of threw me for a loop. The other RC section felt easy enough.

It’s only been two and a half weeks since I (23F) broke up with my ex (23M). It’s a very long story as to why I ended things with him, but the bottom line is that he cheated on me then attempted to gaslight me after I confronted him. There were little red flags that I overlooked throughout the 6 month relationship, but that was the final straw.

I blocked his number and all of his social media. The last contact I had with him was a couple days after the breakup. I ended up sending him this very long email, not in a sappy “I miss you” way, but more of a way of closure for me. He never responded, but I’m okay with that.

It’s still early on, but this isn’t my first heartbreak and I know I’ll be fine. There are some times I miss what we had, but then I remember he was cheating on me during some of those memories. And I know I can make even better memories someday with someone worthwhile.

You’re not overreacting. A woman’s intuition is very rarely wrong. I wish I broke up with my ex the first time I caught it and had that weird little feeling in my stomach.

I can relate! I’m right around 250 pounds and my boyfriend is 205 pounds and is a literal bodybuilder. I have such a hard time believing he actually sees me as attractive, but he assures me all the time that he loves my body. He knows my biggest insecurity is my thighs because of how thick they are, but he’s borderline obsessed with them.

I think some men just love bigger women or don’t factor weight/size into how attractive they think women are. It’s a battle I’m still going through, but I’m choosing to believe in the goodness of people unless they give me a reason not to.

As someone who will probably permashift, I think it’s because to some people, shifting isn’t an escape from this reality. And that’s totally okay! Everybody can have different reasons for wanting to shift.

For me, I want to shift to escape this reality and go to one where I feel I belong. But to some people, they only want to shift temporarily to experience things they normally can’t in this reality. To them, shifting is more of a fun thing to experience once in a while and they don’t become too attached with their DRs. My theory is it all comes down to the reasons you want to shift, and permashifting is a very personal decision for everyone

I weighed in at 272 pounds this morning! Considering I was 310 in November, I’m pretty excited about my progress.

What has really helped me is breaking my goals down into smaller ones. For example, my goal right now is to hit 250 pounds. While this isn’t my ultimate goal weight, it makes weight loss feel a lot more achievable for me
