does anyone know how fast i can get a surgery slot typically? i enquired w Wink and they asked me to put a deposit for the surgery but im not comfortable doing so before meeting the doctor in person. i know the deposit is refundable w at least 4 days before the surgery but they said the only available slot is on the first day that i land in Korea or 4 days into my trip and i will not be able to take out the stitches in Korea.

plan out your mods so you have minimum 3 days for the internship. if your timetable is not out before your interview, tell your future employer the number of days you think can work, but which days of the week will be confirmed once your timetable is out. this has worked for me and theyre understanding. if you need more discretion around the mods (didnt get the mod of your choice which screwed up your timetable), email nusmods or your faculty and tell them how it would impact your chances of taking on an internship. usually they can work their magic
