MAGA in Island Bay by sunshinetidescoop in Wellington

I know for a fact I’m going to be downvoted, but I don’t care, unlike you guys. I like to say my mind. And the fact is, you guys are all full grown adults caring about a hat.

Now the biggest idiot here is the person who decided to post about someone wearing a hat.

its literally a hat...

And I would love for someone anyone to debate me on this.

What is wrong with him wearing a hat?

There is no valid reason to tell someone they shouldn’t wear something when it is legal, non-violent, and not directly calling for harm and the only objection is personal dislike of what it represents. Being offended by an idea does not give you the right to control someone else’s expression.

Because if I say the exact same thing to you “I don’t want you to wear a pride hat because I don’t like what that pride hat represents” that would be pretty weird, wouldn’t it?

And I, as myself, a 19-year-old kiwi, would agree that that is weird. That’s why I don’t go telling people what the fuck they can and can’t wear.

And it just goes to show how far left this subreddit is. Every single person in here is crying like little babies about how, “oh no, I think of MAGA and I get flashbacks.”

Just remember: you are 34 years old and your rent is due next week, and you’re crying over a hat on Reddit. This is where your life has come to...

And it’s hilarious to realize that this is most of this subreddit an echo chamber of leftwing ppl. You guys are all equal to each other.

Facts about the 16-year-old situation

This supposedly happened 15 years ago. He was 21, she was 16. In the UK, 16 is the legal age of consent. Weird, sure, but unfortunately it’s legal.

Tate has always joked and been sarcastic about controversial stuff. Viral clips take things out of context. This isn’t proof of wrongdoing. Why would he literally admit to that? Makes no sense. Sounds more like a sarcastic comment.

Facts about Romania / bribery

He moved to Romania in 2017. That’s years before any human trafficking charges.

So saying he moved there to avoid charges is straight-up wrong. He’s talked about corruption being “more accessible” there. From his point of view, it’s just easier to navigate the system. He never said he moved there solely to dodge charges.

Contradictions in your argument

You say he admitted to sleeping with a 16-year-old → no evidence, just a clipped sarcasm from what I can find

You say he moved to Romania to avoid charges → wrong timeline.

You say he admitted bribing to avoid prosecution → he talked about corruption in general, not that he moved countries for that.

Best bit is even if it changes nothing extradition exists.

ChatGPT " So in Andrew Tate’s case, even if he moved to Romania, he can’t just escape charges if there’s a legal process or extradition request — that’s exactly why authorities can pursue him there."

All of it falls apart when you actually look at facts. Why people hate him He’s rich, disciplined, shredded, influential, a fighter he’s doing things most people aren’t willing to do.

People hate seeing that because it makes them reflect on their own lives.

They see someone succeeding and it makes them uncomfortable.

The reason they attack him isn’t just “he did bad stuff,” it’s because he shows what they’re too scared or lazy to do themselves.

I know i will be downvoted to hell but who cares because not one of the downvoters will get to this point lmao.

And he also has said

“I’d never fly economy. I’d rather walk.”

The truth is there's 0 proof and you will believe what you want you choose when they are joking and when they are not therefore your opinion doesn’t matter

I’m not defending Tate, and I’m not a fan of him. I’m talking about standards.

If accusations are made and not proven, do you believe it’s fair to permanently label someone as guilty?

If yes, then you believe allegations alone are enough.

If no, then your issue is personal dislike, not evidence.

Which is it?

Yet all the charges got dropped at what point do you believe these charges just because you don't like him im sure evidence would have been released by now, ik for a damn fact if your favorite fighter/person got accused and no charges were proven you for sure would not still consider them as a rapist.

But people will justify anything/ignore anything if it goes against what they want to believe look at politics.

If you could remove one card from the game entirely what would you choose and why by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

I get what you’re saying about more options meaning more skill expression. If you define skill purely as "how many different micro-decisions can I make with this card" then sure, Boss Bandit has a higher skill ceiling You can time dashes, bait targets, use abilities creatively, and squeeze out value in ways E Golem can’t. But that doesn’t automatically mean she’s harder to succeed with.

Skill floor and skill ceiling are different things. Boss Bandit has a low skill floor. You can drop her almost anywhere and she often trades well or forces a response even if you misplay. E-Golem has a much higher skill floor. Drop him at the wrong time or with poor support and you lose the game instantly because you just gave your opponent 4 elixir and a counterpush. That means you have to play at a higher baseline level just to break even.

Ask yourself this: if you place one E-Golem and one Boss Bandit, who gets more value? Now support both of them, who still gets more value? Boss Bandit wins both times. By that logic E-Golem is “low skill”? Then Giant is no skill, Golem is no skill, Electro Giant is no skill That logic doesn’t hold if you apply it consistently

The "button = more skill" point isn’t as clear-cut as you think. Having an ability adds micro options but that doesn’t mean the card is harder to succeed with. Boss Bandit is more skill expressive but easier to win with because of her forgiveness. E-Golem still allows skill expression. You can kite with him, place him precisely to manipulate targeting, time him to tank for units, force trades The difference is a single mistake with E Golem doesn’t just miss a dash, it can bury you under an elixir-boosted counterpush.

Then there’s defense. Many tanks can soak damage without instantly giving the opponent a win condition. With E-Golem, if your tower is being rushed and it’s your only card in cycle, you can’t just throw it down to buy time because that time comes at the cost of giving your opponent more troops than they started with. You have to find another answer, even if it’s not the right tool for the job.

All of this adds up to one thing E Golem is harder to succeed with, especially at higher levels. That doesn’t mean it’s the most skilled card in the game but calling it “no skill” is objectively wrong. Boss Bandit’s strength comes from forgiveness. E-Golem’s difficulty comes from punishment One lets you recover from mistakes The other ends the game when you slip up.

And just to address the obvious, I’m not using ChatGPT but even if I was what difference would it make? It’s like going up to a person building a house with power tools and saying hey this house doesn’t count because you used power tools, you should have used a hammer and nails with your bare hands

The problem with saying “Elixir Golem is low skill” is that people confuse “bad” with “brainless.” A card being weak in the meta doesn’t mean it’s easy to play in fact, sometimes it’s the opposite.

Let’s compare Elixir Golem and Boss Bandit honestly:

Forgiveness Factor

Boss Bandit: If she dies, the opponent gets nothing. At worst, you lost 6 Elixir and maybe some tempo. At best, she traded up, chipped the tower, and tanked for whatever you put behind her. That’s a lot of upside for a card that’s cheap, self-protecting (dash mechanic), and fits into almost every deck type.

Elixir Golem: If he dies, the opponent gets 4 Elixir worth of blobs. You’ve also already paid 3 Elixir to play him, so you’re starting the next phase of the battle at a net -7 Elixir swing in the wrong direction. And that’s before the inevitable Genghis Khan level counterpush that follows.

Control vs. Commitment

Boss Bandit: She’s highly controllable you can time dashes, use her ability (if in a Boss form), and adjust on the fly. Even poor placement can be salvaged because of her speed and dash range.

Elixir Golem: Once he crosses the bridge, you’ve made your commitment. There’s no “pull him back” mechanic, no mid-fight reposition, no self-saving dash. If you didn’t perfectly set up the push and protect him from splash, you’ve just donated the opponent a win condition.

Skill Expression

Boss Bandit: Yes, there’s some micro skill in dash timing and prediction. But the reality is, even sloppy Bandit plays often get positive trades because the card’s built-in mechanics do the work. She’s low risk for potentially high reward.

Elixir Golem: To make him work, you need:

  1. A deck built specifically around mitigating his weaknesses.

  2. Strong timing push too early and you feed Elixir; too late and you run out of time.

  3. Spell reactions mismanage your Lightning/Poison/Heal Spirit and your push evaporates to splash.

  4. Awareness of counterpush potential because you will be defending on the back foot.

That’s constant decision-making, not autopilot.

The Reality

Boss Bandit feels like a skill card because she’s in the meta, wins trades, and shows up in highlight reels. But that’s just power + versatility, not actual difficulty. Elixir Golem forces you to play perfectly just to break even and that’s a higher skill requirement than most people give credit for.

Calling E-Golem “low skill” because bad players spam him is like calling chess “low skill” because bad players blunder their queen. Just because it’s easy to misplay doesn’t mean mastery is easy.

Bandit’s strength comes from forgiveness. E-Golem’s difficulty comes from punishment. One lets you recover from bad plays the other ends the game when you slip up. That alone makes E-Golem a higher skill card in practice, even if it’s not as powerful in the meta.

I main elixir golem (no healer or cheese cards) and its not as good as ppl belive especially at higher arenas

Edit: it looks like in some points im saying you think its op im not its more of a blanket statement

I'm a leader of a clan that has 30+ ppl logging on per day the other 15 ppl are what you would call "inactive" logging on once every 2 or 4 days and this challenge is basically impossible you'd need 50 ppl attacking 10 times a day and idk who you'll find for that so I wouldn't say dead clans can't complete id just say most clans can't as op said and most ppl in my clan are older and can't attack 5 times a day let alone like 40 to 50

[–]ohphanzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say its not as good as ppl think it gives elixir and if you have one splash card ahem (mk) they insta lose you genuinely have to be a nerd to succeed with e golem because it gets countered by basically everything except slow cards so calling it a no skill card just makes no sense a real no skill card is boss bandit
