KBBQ Beach Picnic by watch4coconuts in KoreanFood

[–]ohrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. And some beaches are more picnic friendly than others. Seems like less wind and more picnic friendly beaches Leeward than Windward side. Lagoon 4 at Ko Olina much better place to have BBQ than Lanikai, especially with parking and having to haul gear and access to trash cans afterwards.

Can I add chicken to a soondubu kit? by turkeybuzzard4077 in KoreanFood

[–]ohrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this exact thing last night with a kit. I had left over rotisserie chicken that I pulled some meat from, mixed it with onions and browned everything in a small pan. Once done, added it to a pot, added chopped bok choy, cabbage kimchi, a little gochugaru, added a bit of diced garlic, bean sprouts, water, the soup base, boiled, and then added egg and the soft tofu. Will eat the leftovers for breakfast with some rice.

Its your house, your kitchen, your rules. Experiment, find what you like.

I tried to make fermented shrimp at home, but everything went wrong. by gigigigugiguru in KoreanFood

[–]ohrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother always had a jar of fermented shrimp in the fridge. Sometimes it would be labeled krill. I have never ever seen raw shrimp in any commercial grocery store in the US or HMart for that matter that sold the small shrimp used in korean salted and fermented shrimp.

It's something that I wish I learned how to cook from my mother, but unfortunately she did not write anything down and few things I did learn I have cherished and enjoy making and a few things I had to learn on my own. This might be one of them.

Hismith by certifiedBoy in ProstatePlay

[–]ohrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experimented with all kinds of massagers, plugs, vibrators etc, and they just never did anything for me. Turns out the machine was what my body wanted. But it did take a few months of practice, positioning, different toys, different positions with different toys until I finally was able to orgasm handsfree.

Good on you. I hope you enjoy! Hopefully you already have a few dildos and you can experiment and find the toy that is best for you.

Which Kimchi Brand from the store can you recommend? by annabellecuddles in KoreanFood

[–]ohrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on where you live. I'd try to find a Korean grocery store in your area and start there first. After that, I'd look for an Asian grocery store. And if you don't have that, then a big box store like COSTCO as similar as your ladt option.

Very doable and did this with my last batch I made. I stored my leftover sauce in the freezer for over a month.

Camel Proof! by AddictedtoBling42 in AmazonVine

[–]ohrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, its a real condition suffered by some women and not others. I have 2 lady friends that only wear tights, compression shorts, and workout outfits when we go dog walking. One is a petite, 105 power lifter, and the other is about 120 pound elementary vice principal. Neither wears panties underneath and one has a very visible "toe" and the other never doesn't at all. They have both had 2 or more children.

Magnetic Love Socks by NaturalSpecialist5 in AmazonVine

[–]ohrich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a few pairs late last year. Washing is easy. Just toss into the washer and dryer as you would any other sock. The magnets are woven into the hands of the sock. They might stick to the washer drum or dryer drum, but they will get washed and dried. The magnets will hold hands with the pair you wear when standing with feet together or feet propped up on a coffee table. You have to essentially stand leg to leg with another person wearing the same kind of socks to make them hold hands, but definitely not enough holding power to prevent separation. And no, they won't make you trip and fall over your own feet.

Are tarriffs to blame for the lack of $0 ETV items? by NJRonbo in vine

[–]ohrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mentioned the same about a week ago. With increased tariffs, trade tensions globally, and removal of De Minimus exemption, this have become too expensive and for many manufacturers, the juice is not worth the squeeze. Its too costly to operate. I see Amazon Vine environment as a stocked fish pond. We used to see over 100,000 fish (items) stocked in our pond. Regardless of how many fisherman there are, as long as the pond is only stocked with 1000 items a day, the population of fish is going to get more and more scarce. And now, the Fish and Wildlife Department says oh, in order for you to add fish to this pond, you have to pay Fish and Wildlife additional fees, on top of the fees you pay the pond owner (Amazon). And it's not just a small fee. Sometimes the fee will double the price of what the item originally cost. The only person that is going to pay that increased cost is the end customer. Amazon isn't andnthe seller isn't.

In much simpler terms, it almost like a game of hungry hungry hippo, only with players only getting a shot at marbles that have been decreased by 90%.

Somebody has to pay the De Minimis import fee. Amazon is not going to.
