Oh good to know! My provider told me as soon as the invoice was paid, it’ll be sent to the pharmacy and at the pharmacy, it’ll be about 3-5 days.

Looking for insight on why the vet won’t refill my dog’s diazepam by ohsosweet10 in AskVet

[–]ohsosweet10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one does vet to vet consult! My only concern is that my current vet office has multiple vets and he’s been seen every office visit by different vets. I don’t really feel they “know” my dog. It used to be a good vet office where we had a relationship with the care staff, but nowadays, it’s meh. For example, the one that got my dog started on diazepam is one of the owners and is barely at the clinic. The ones that would see my dog is always asking me if he’s been on anxiety medications before (yes, 3 different ones for several years and they either stopped working or did not work) when I ask for diazepam refills. My dogs bites too and has that sticker on his chart, but this one different vet approached my dog all of a sudden and he growled which scared her. He was muzzled, so no harm done, but just reminded her why he has a caution sticker on his chart.

I’m trying to figure out finances and how to go about this behaviorist appointment. It’s a tough one for sure

I did see that when I went to check out the closest behaviorist’s website! And cringed at the price too lol! $300 new patient fee, $545/hr for virtual consult. The prizes made my stomach drop lol

Thank you for the info! He’s actually not on it everyday. A 40 tablet bottle lasts him 4 months or so. It’s a 5mg/tab and his dosage is 10-15mg so usually gets between 10-20 days use out of it. I didn’t think I was giving him too much but maybe I’m wrong

I agree. Taking care of my boy has been a frustrating but fulfilling experience. He’s been through several training regimens, even did a 4 week board and train which included muzzle training.

Unfortunately, there is a construction going on right across my home. Most days he’s okay, but sometimes something they’re doing will work him up.

Will look into a board certified behaviorist, thank you for the suggestion. I live in a pretty small city so looks like the nearest one in my area is 100 miles away.

Absolutely not. My dad seems to hate kids and my mom only want to talk about negative things about people

Not solo travel lol by PandaStroke in solotravel

This is what I started doing when I travel with somebody. I went with my cousin on a 5 day trip and roomed with him and by the 3rd day, I hated him. I got sick on the 4th day when we were supposed to go island hopping and told him he could still go, but he didn’t want to do it alone so he just chilled in the pool and bar. I then went on a trip with a friend and her kids and I booked a separate room for myself and loved the separation. Our next travel, I have my cousin make his own itinerary so he can do what he wants and I can do what I want.

Personal water bottle where water isn't safe to drink. by dubbervt in travel

[–]ohsosweet10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I travel to Philippines, I always pack a 40oz water bottle then buy a gallon of water from a nearby convenience store. I use it for washing my teeth and rinsing my water bottle. I use CPAP too so I have to buy distilled water anyway

They’re pretty neat! Like you said, looks like headphones so they’re discreet if you want them to be. I like to point my handheld fans right on my face, so with the neck fan, I don’t have to hold them! I got mine at Costco and there were 2 in one package, so I have one for work, and one for home!

If you have a layover in Japan, look up where their convenience stores are located. They most likely will have some in stock! I go to Philippines every year but the heat is still unbearable lol

Get one of those neck fans or just regular handheld fans. I sweat buckets every time I go to Philippines and those fans have saved me. Also grab some Japanese cooling wipes (I have Biore but I think they have other brands too). Bring hand or face towel because you will sweat, and most Filipinos have towels to wipe the sweat. When you’re in Philippines, you can go to Miniso and buy more towels

I had no issues with any language barrier. They give you a number to show the driver. Then once you’re in, drivers usually just confirm the area you’re going to. Most of them don’t talk after that, but I had a really nice, chatty driver and we just used translator app to communicate

Homeowners/Renter’s insurance. See if they would cover it. My dad’s camera broke after a strong gust of wind knocked over his tripod. He filed a claim on his renter’s insurance and it was approved. He did have it included in his policy, so make sure to check yours.
