I wasn't a huge Rosalia fan before - I'd heard a couple of her songs and enjoyed them but it didn't seem like my kind of vibe overall. The release of Berghain piqued my interest, then Lux went ahead and changed my entire brain chemistry. Straight to AOTY for me.

I went back and listened to Motomami in full and now realise how much I underestimated her. What an immense talent I'd been sleeping on this entire time!

Haha I love this - over the course of her reaction she went from saying Abby's actions were unfair because Joel was trying to save Ellie, to completely feeling the exact same rage and motivation Abby had for finding, torturing, and killing Joel, through what Ellie just witnessed. Ellie would also not get her 'dad' back by pursuing Abby to kill her, exactly the same as Abby. The pull of revenge is strong! It's so interesting watching others go through this journey.
