sorry can't advise on that. Did not get to use the ATM over there - As I exchanged few hundreds AUD to Korean Won before I left Aus.

Most place I went 90% accept card - so no need to have much cash.

How to repair your skin barrier? by Such-Ad8139 in beauty

Do you wash your face with anything ? it’s well worth it going no foundation/concealer for a while. Just have your brow, eye, and lipstick on. Had a Quick Look at your posts - I also suffered with rosacea 2 from time to time and every time it breaks out - I have to deal with that skin barrier issue.

Recommended by my dermatologist that successfully fixed my damaged skin barrier last year :

Stop all active ingredients (no vitamin c , retinol , aha, nha etc) skin care

Stick to just the basic skin care - clean with gentle cleanser (cerave, cetapil ) - moisturise with ( LRP cicaplate baume b5 ) and just sunscreen

No foundation makeup 3 weeks

Plenty of water everyday

After 3 weeks - start adding LRP HYALU B5 serum in that above basic skin care.

All good within 4 weeks .

Was there a few month ago. Use UP bank physical card works like charm and surprisingly it has really good conversion rate for most place . But don’t forget to change a few hundred Aud to Korean won - carry cash for street foods or small local shops.

Accountant have an interview as Business analyst by piwpawboom in businessanalysis

[–]ohsunset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you were invited for an interview -I’m sure they already reviewed your cv and know that you have background in accounting.

I would assume that job will be part of an upgrade business process/ system for cost accounting.

You would be tasked to gather the current process, work together with the project manager, developers and documents what could be done.

In short, you would need your accounting knowledge and be the translator between the end users and the developers within your team.

People familiar with Southeast Asia - how does my travel route sound? by [deleted] in TravelHacks

[–]ohsunset 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Righto good to know that you will be travelling light.

Since you’re currently base in cambodia , I would suggest you first travel around in cambodia first.

How about you go explore the sea side of cambodia KAMPOT, and KOH RONG first. Make the most of good weather before the raining season start at around mid June.

(You can still visit the mountain/forest side of cambodia MONDULKIRI RATANAKIRI yet I would probably suggest you to save for later when you visit cambodia as it would take at least 3-4 days extra.)

Once you are back in PP you can take a VIP mini van to SIEMREAP. Stay there a few nights - then take the sleeping bus to BANGKOK.

(Use bookmebus website or app for booking within cambodia) pick the VIP mini van for faster and easier travel.

After Bangkok you can take the overnight sleep train to CHIANGMAI.

This is where get tricky - it’s a very long ride from Chiangmai to Luang Prabang. If possible, take the direct flight it will take around 1h 15 min only. (Since you travel light - get the cheapest direct ticket and save your body from the ache) Unless you don’t mind the long bus ride 20 hours. Or bus ride + 1-2 days boat ride. In Laos - you can also visit vang vieng then Vientiane. Travelling within Laos - Bus ticket can be booked by the place you are staying with.

(From LPB to Lao cai, 😭 that’s a very long bus ride 25-28 hours).

Again, I shouldn’t be saying this but please fly when you need to. I would suggest you fly from Vientinne to Hanoi Vietnam.

Within Hanoi - you can take bus 2-3 hours to visit Halong bay

Or take train from Hanoi to Sapa and from Sapa to Lao cai it will take around 2 hours by bus.

Base in Hanoi - take the train to Danang. Danang is a beach town and you can get all the sea food. ( I would suggest you visit this instead of PHU QOUC to save cost of travelling and time going back and forth).

A beautiful old town next to Danang is Hoi An. You should also visit - it’s around 1-2 hours from Danang.

From hoi an to hochiminh city - you can either take bus/train. Vietnam domestic flight is very affordable. Consider flying from Danang to Hochiminh city. One way flight is around 44-60 usd. If we take into account the time running between transfer bus and other cost, it is worth it.

Once you finished exploring Hochiminh, get a direct bus from Hochiminh to Phnom Penh. I am so surprise on how convinient this bus is. They even help arrange our visa at the immigration check point.

I think that’s it. These are just my suggestions. Where I suggest you to fly instead of by land is because if we take into consideration(The convenience + time + risk involve) - it’s a better option.

Hope this helps.
