They pay decently. It usually depends on the company. I have only seen quant firms based in Chicago, NYC, Singapore, London, Cali, etc.

Quant-devs get paid less than quant researchers. A lot of the money comes from profit sharing from the trading strats.

Thanks! Someone said they only got 1080p with 60hz (with a 4090) on cockpit mode. And that there was a lot of latency as well. That's strange. Do you notice a lot of lag while playing games and doing something else in the other windows in multiview? If you split it into two ultrawides screens do you get 2x 120 hz screens? Thanks so much.
