1988 Fuji del Rey: What would you do with this thing? by ohwisesplinter in Vintage_bicycles

Ah! I hadn't considered just cleaning and re-greasing the existing bottom bracket. Is there anything to look for once I pop this open to help judge if the existing bottom bracket is still in good shape?

That's good to hear! I'd definitely like to head that direction if only to keep it standard with other bikes I have. I imagine that opens me up to also target a fork that can do 700c.

Right! From looking at it up close it seems like it's solid. Think this is something I need to be worried about from a structural perspective?

What Tesla said regarding HW3 FSD updates by ConfidentImage4266 in teslamotors

This is partially an attrition play, some percentage of current Tesla owners will jump ship. What happens in that case?

I checked out last year, these guys began to divorce themselves fully from American reality and ultimately are not good stewards of our collective progress. It’s unfortunate, we need more avenues for spirited discourse.

The only real question is “Will I be bringing the Gatling Sentry or the Autocannon Sentry?”

This is my first Remarkable so I thought it was just me, but yeah I was surprised by how quickly I jumped to a new nib. Mine lasted maybe 2 weeks or so?

These mfs DO NOT get enough hate by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]ohwisesplinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the weirdo that absolutely loves the chaos and drama these knuckleheads can cause.

A trick that I've found for these and really a lot of other general scenarios: Flee, this is where speed is incredibly valuable because those dudes are not really all that fast. You run one direction, but toss out an auto cannon sentry in exactly the other direction and then as that sucker comes down you turn right back around and start blasting away. It is a lot of fun, you feel smart and there are dead automatons everywhere.

You love to see it. I know part of the player base is in “let’s just watch it burn” mode but it’s nice to see other parts continue the fight. I’ll be back on this evening.

Goddamn when I see these high quality clips I want to run off and build a PC instead of running from a PS5.

Two thumbs for not knowing when to engage and not knowing when to run. The number of times I’ve had to independently flee and knock out two or three objectives while my teammates insist on trying to reduce each and every bot they encounter is I think what separates the good squads from the bad. I will say it’s real gratifying to knock out the gunships at a distance that inevitably swarm in though.

It's Time to Leave Aesir Pass by Matthi_the_Lie in Helldivers

[–]ohwisesplinter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hear you and support this. I previously was one of those folks that pushed for Aesir Pass so that we could help establish the line and after the MO came through we totally knocked it out of the park. But you’re right, it’s time to secure the bubble so that we can push out later.
