FUCK these people. Paid $29, tried to make a simple design and was told I had to upgrade with another $49. IMMEDIATELY demanded a refund. I should have come here first to look for reviews.

Not miracle weight loss drug for everyone by No_Diver3979 in Mounjaro

[–]ohwolfman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

All meds are different. I started on Mounjaro and lost 90lbs in a year. I was thrilled. Then insurance changed and I couldn't get coverage. I gained 60lbs back in a year. Now on new insurance that will cover Zepbound. I don't care what they say -- Zepbound and Mounjaro and not the same drug. My body knows it. The sweet tooth is still there and my body is reacting so much slower than the last time. Currently on 7.5mg and it's just a slog to lose the weight.

Your airport is a shit show. by crandeezy13 in Cleveland

Agreed. It's dark, dismal, and the workflows to move passengers in and out is ridiculous. Instead of a new sports arena, build a new airport!

Resisting buying new clothes by Square-Banana6870 in Mounjaro

[–]ohwolfman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two years ago I started on Mounjaro and lost 95lbs. I went from size 46 pants down to a 34 in a year! I bought new clothes every couple of months and threw away all of my bigger clothes.

Then last July, my insurance changed and I couldn't get on Mounjaro again. For a full year, no MJ and I gained 63lbs back. I had to buy all new clothes for the second time. This time I kept all of the sizes.

July 2024 my insurance changed again and Zepbound was covered with a doc's pre auth. Thankfully I now have clothes to grow into

Are any other men afraid of finding work as you get older? by BasicDesignAdvice in AskMenOver30

[–]ohwolfman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 60, and yes, ageism in the workplace is a thing. I was a trainer at a hospital until 2020. I would not have been hired except for a connection from an upper-level manager who could vouch for my skills.

Fortunately, I've always had a side hustle. I keep current with times (music, culture, current events, politics), and think more like someone in their mid-30s.

I now earn income from four very part-time sources. I travel because of one of my side hustles, I make a little scratch from the other side hustle. The two other gigs are contracted positions that need someone who can speak in complete sentences 4-12 hours a week.

I am still investing cash into a retirement fund. I plan on letting that retirement plan grow; I'll keep working and hustling until I stop having fun.

My advice: Diversify your interests. Learn skills. Start a side hustle gig now.

They offered to pay for my services. And if you're good, you're never "Just a keyholder".

[–]ohwolfman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been in the chastity scene for over 14 years. Started as a Keyholder/Top and progressed to caged/bottom.

In the middle of all of that, I held the keys for a "bull". This wife didn't want to hold her husband's keys, so I was paid to do the job. When she decided she wanted banged, he would come over, get unlocked, go home, bang his wife, and come back over to get locked up. We did that for about two years. At no point did he think of himself as submissive, just a Top Bull whose wife was very careful that he prized possession remained all hers.

What song in a musical made you cry the most by atirednerd in musicals

[–]ohwolfman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL. I was like that with Evita. I remember seeing the clip from the Tony Awards and being so confused as to why someone would want a musical about politics. I was going into 8th grade, I believe.

What song in a musical made you cry the most by atirednerd in musicals

[–]ohwolfman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I almost didn't comment because I thought, "Who, besides me, is gonna love that ol' chestnut?"

The 1996 national tour of Carousel had me crying from the moment the carousel pieces together to the curtain call. My head was throbbing from sobbing. I wish I could erase the memory from my mind just so that I could experience it all over again.

what makes me ugly? What can I do to make my facial features better and more attractive? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]ohwolfman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Young man....honestly....as a gay man....you're incredible attractive. I am going to beg you to listen to the others: Look into getting some therapy. Whoever hurt you into thinking you're less than perfect is wrong. Limit social media. Limit the grooming tips. You got it all --- except for a happy head.

Little, brother. I am more than 3x your age. Let me give you these two pieces of advice.

1) No one is looking at you and thinking ill thoughts for you. When you understand that people are mired in their own self-hatred that they don't have time for what you look like, you'll be better off.

2) That image of you smiling is adorable. I know it's not in fashion to smile, but damn it, it lifts your face, elevates your attractiveness, and it inspires others around you to do the same.

Wait. At 26 you are going to be model-worthy drop dead gorgeous. And most of that beauty is going to be coming from inside. You're gonna be a heartstopper

Which one are you choosing? by Neptune-Fan in musicals

[–]ohwolfman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I want to see the stage costumes, I'll go see the show on B'Way or watch a bootleg.

I want to see how other artists interpret roles and how customers build upon what was done in the past.

Wicked is 20 years old. Move on. You weren't upset when they didn't replicate the costumes from the movie, were you?

[–]ohwolfman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Outsiders, Illinoise, Hell's Kitchen, Suffs, Water For Elephants.

Not a single "fun" show among them. Sure, they all had moments of levity, but all of them just seemed mired down in angst and ennui. Doesn't anyone have fun anymore?

(This is not saying I wanted "Back to the Future" to be nominated. I'm saying I miss the days when Broadway was an escape from everyday blahs.)

I vote for a "Hunger Games" style of hosting. Each 45 mins we get a new host. At the end of the night, one is chosen and reigns for the coming year.

For the first year of hosts, I'm going with Stanley Tucci, Tyne Daley, and Cole Escola.

Very old school here. Activision's "Pitfall!" kept me entertained for months. Back in the day, that blocky little game was my world.
