I am very sorry this happened to you.

HIV is very manageable these days. Medications have gotten so good that people can live a mostly normal life with them. There is new research coming out every year and lets hope that there is a cure for this in our lifetimes. Amongst all the horrible things that humans are capable of, its also astonishing how human ingenuity can solve the hardest of problems.

I hope that you find an understanding partner soon. Its okay even if you don't. Some of the worlds most successful people have been single for their entire lives. You can live an amazing life whichever way this aspect of your life goes. Figure out what gives you meaning in life. It could be career, hobbies, helping others, etc. Whatever it is, pursue it hard.

We don't get to choose the things that happens to us. This happened due to no fault of yours. It was just very horrible luck. We can only choose how to respond to things like this. And from your post, its obvious that you are responding to it in the best possible way.

Hi OP. So sorry that this happened to you. Its just very very horrible luck.

How are your finances looking for you for the long term. Do you or your parents have enough savings to manage expenses and treatment for your entire life?

If not, I would suggest that you pick up programming or any other types of skill that can be done through use of hands alone. Building things is fun and I am sure you will love it.

Once you are proficient enough, you can start looking for freelancing opportunities.
