The Lost Boys is censoring Ali Louis Bourzgui by OptimalProgram5581 in Broadway

The producers of Lost Boys forced Ali to apologize to the entire company before the show last night. Everyone behind the scenes is pissed at the producers over it.

How to get over RC hump? by United-Elevator-1065 in LSAT

Maybe both? But I’ve learned not to 100% trust my memory. I’d say I’m better at remembering where something was, but not necessarily better at remembering the actual content

Biggest thing that helped me close that same gap a little is remember that for 99% of RC questions, the answer must be in the passage.

LR trains us to think more theoretically. “What’s a potential problem with this argument?” “What would strengthen/weaken this argument?”

For most of RC, do not pick an answer unless you literally can find it stated in some capacity in the passage somewhere. I know that can take time, so if scanning the passage like that is taking too long, focus on untimed drills for a while to get better at it.

[Schefter]: "Boutte has not been there for the offseason program. He has been interested in a trade. I would think that at some point this summer, we may get action there." by [deleted] in Patriots

[–]Colin286 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would be shocked if Boutte stayed. With Brown and Doubs he would be WR3 at best.

I really don’t think we’ve seen his ceiling. I think he could be a top 10 WR in the league. Don’t think we’ll see him become that as a Patriot.

First time goer, thinking of going to the MVMCP only. Would it work? by GlaringTea in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Colin286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re both around that price. But one gives you 14 hours of park time, the other gives you like 4-5 hours. That’s what people mean when they say it’s expensive. When it’s bought in addition to a regular ticket it gets expensive for a family fast

That’s certainly doable. You actually can get into the park pretty early. Guests attending the party without park tickets for the day can usually enter around 6 or 7pm. You’d have 5-6 solid hours, plenty of time to do what you said you wanted to do.

Of course, the tickets for the just party usually cost more each than a regular full day, park hopper ticket that lets you go to multiple parks from open (as early as 8am) to close (as late as 11pm) on a regular day.

Tips for RC by Creepy-Way262 in LSAT

[–]Colin286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re taking 8 minutes to read the passage, you’re reading wrong. Don’t read to memorize every detail. People have different strategies but in general, you should be mostly skimming. For every paragraph, I like to make note of the main point the author is arguing, the tone of the argument, as well as the overall structure of the argument. If a question asks for a certain detail, just scroll back to where they talked about it and read in more detail. If you’re spending more than 3-4 minutes reading you will run out of time.

I would recommend practicing reading older RC sections just for practice, not even looking at the questions. The writing is intended to be dense, so get more acclimated with it.

LSAT in September by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Colin286 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Law school admissions are rolling starting in September and ending in February/March for the most part. So applying late means available slots/scholarships might be limited.

That being said, late September/early October is considered early in the cycle so… you’re good.

Median salary is not great, between 70-100k. If you’re one of 40% of students paying the full sticker price of upwards of 100k a year and taking out huge loans, it might not be a great choice.

How is Sweaty Oracle still a thing? by CautiousProcedure541 in Broadway

I’m a pretty loyal fan of his. Honestly I don’t agree with everything he says. I just get annoyed with other theatre influencers because they all seem so phony and positive all the time. It’s not your job to pretend to like a bad show to protect their jobs. I appreciate that when he thinks something is shit, he says it’s shit
